Birth Of A Nation: Hezbollahstan

It is now only a matter of time before the nation formerly known as Lebanon will cease to exist, to be replaced by the jihadists' latest victory:

Hezbollahstan.

And similarly, it is only a matter of time before Hezbollastan attacks Israel, and resumes the reign of terror that it instigated on July 12, and carried on for five weeks before being prematurely aborted, in the name of "peace."

Hezbollahstan's unholy birth will be made possible primarily by the "world community's":

• Endless and unjustified castigation of Israel, particularly in the media, for defending itself
  .
• Appeasement of jihadist butchers, their enablers and defenders
  .
• Refusal to discern between the murderer and murdered, the terrorist and the terrorized, and Hezbollah and life-focused groups with grievances

After enduring decades of war, strife and destruction, Lebanon enjoyed a brief moment of peace and reconstruction in the past eight years. Beirut was gradually reclaiming its former glory as one of the Mediterranian's premier vacation destinations, and blossoming atop the blood-soaked soil was a semi-free, open, multi-religious culture.

But beneath the surface, something else was also blossoming: jihad.

Hezbollah had intimidated (or otherwise "convinced") a sufficient number of Lebanese civilians and local government officials into letting it set up shop in their communities.

Some, a minority, saw this is a deal with the devil: that potentially grave harm was going to come from this deal. With the estimated $100 million per year that Hezbollah was getting from Iran, it set up and operated welfare and aid services, medical centers, schools and other "public services."

Like anyone else seeking something for nothing (translation: welfare statists), many Lebanese people refused to think about what this would all mean, and where it would all lead.

Hezbollah clearly had intentions other than what it advertised. It despised the permissive culture that was taking root in Lebanon. Similarly to the Mafia, it set up shop - in and around civilians. It became entrenched. The Lebanese people, either too brainwashed or too trusting or too unwilling to project out to the logical conclusions what their decisions would lead to, went along.

What they may not have realized is that what they were voting for was to commit national suicide.

And the result has been exactly what was inevitable: destruction, death and misery.

That is all jihadists will ever produce, because their focus and value system is not on this world, or on human life - it is on the supposed "paradise" that is promised to them in the afterlife, by forcing "infidels" to convert to their particular flavor of Islam, or to murder, enslave or otherwise oppress them, if they refuse.

UPDATE, AUGUST 16: HEZBOLLAH REFUSES TO DISARM OR WITHDRAW (SURPRISE!)

Now, as expected (except by Euro-weenies, American intellectuals and leftist activists), contrary to the terms of the "cease fire" agreement and UN Resolution 1559, Hezbollah has announced that it will neither disarm nor withdraw from southern Lebanon.

As I said on Huffington Post this evening:

"And this is a surprise!?A friend's kid (12 yrs old) figured this out as soon as the news of this faux 'cessation of hostilities' was agreed to at the UN, the most corrupt world body since... well, forever.

"But hey, 'the world' demanded that the US and Israel make a good-faith effort to stop all this. Israel agreed. Lebanon agreed. Hezbollah agreed.As I said here at about 8am, I doubt that Hezbollah's jihadist butchers will be able to last more than a few more days without getting civilian blood on their hands.

"If this surprises anyone other than Euro-weenies and American intellectuals, they deserve what they get.Israel should never have stopped. Next time (probably a matter of hours now), I pray they won't."

I can't wait to see what fascinating and insightful (!) things will be posted in reply. Well, here, follow the thread for yourself to see the face of the new "base" of the Democratic Party has to say about this.

Condi came home last week after saying that these were "birthing pains" or something to that effect, that a new Middle East was being born.

Although I'm one of her biggest fans, she was wrong. That "birthing sound" you heard was the sound of a new jihadist nation being taken over, or born, depending on your perspective.

And thanks to the outcries of "the world community" for peace, of journalists' lapping up Hezbollah's media propaganda and manipulations like puppies to warm milk, and of outright jihadist-appeasers in Europe and beyond, we are now left with facing an emboldened jihadist cabal that will need to be dealt with.

As I noted on another post here, the moment "the world community" gave Hezbollah's chief jihadist butcher, Hassan Nasrallah, the "right" to determine what any "cease fire" would consist of, it essentially surrendered whatever moral authority it claimed, in one single shot.

Whatever deaths, destruction and human missery will be caused by having to deal with Hezbollastan now, it won't be a small fraction of what it will take if we let this cancer continue to metastasize until THEY are ready to pick a new time, place and means of instigating a new, expanded jihad against the West.

Ahmadinejad Validates JonQuixote's Contentions Re Jihadist-Leftist Love-Fest

Bloggers at The Huffington Post and elsewhere ridiculed and denounced me when I posited in my August 14, 2006 post that:

• The Iranian madman, Ahmadinejad, was using many of the same talking points as the seething leftists in America and beyond, to cloak his relentless exporting and support of terrorists throughout the world, and his true, despotic intentions

• Leftists --- especially those who preach "justice" and "peace" and "rights" and "social justice" and "tolerance" in America and beyond --- are the primary non-Muslim enablers and defenders of bloodthirsty jihadists and murderers like Ahmadinejad

Well, thanks to a prescient and timely tip from a fan of this blog, my contention has been confirmed - by none other than Ahmadinejad himself, on an official Iranian governmental website:

(Tehran, June 27) IRNA President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad said here Monday night that justice-seeking is an instinctive issue, stressing administration of justice is a great ideal for human beings.

President Ahmadinejad made the remark in a meeting with the visiting Greek president of Socialist International, George A. Papandreou. "Today, despite great progress made in societies, humans still suffer from discrimination and inequality as a result of lack of social justice." Efforts made by certain individuals and groups to administer justice have failed because there is no correct definition of justice. "Those who seek justice in the world should set a proper and comprehensive definition of justice as a base for their activities because human beings will accept justice if they experience real justice."

The president added, "Justice-seeking and democratization have actually turned into a slogan and a cover for politicians in certain societies to seize power and dominate nations. Real justice-seekers always seek to materialize justice as a human ideal and never strive to obtain financial power."

He said the Iranian nation loves peace, adding, "Iranians, based on their religious thoughts, are always after establishment of peace and sustainable justice in the world." Ahmadinejad said Iran and Greece have been cradles of civilization during different periods of time, adding, "The two countries should strive to establish justice based on dignity of all human beings using their rich culture and great commonalties."

Papandreou, for his part, said the Iranian nation has always been a pioneer in administering social justice, adding administration of justice in the world would help establish security, tranquility and welfare for all human beings. Papandreou, who was Greece's foreign minister from 1999 to 2004 and a leader of the main opposition party, the Panhellenic Socialist Movement (PASOK) in Greece since 2004, condemned injustice done by certain powers, particularly the United States, through Iraq's occupation and preventing Iran's access to nuclear energy.

"All nations and governments should try to establish justice in the world so that unilateralism would be destroyed."

In 2006, Papandreou became president of Socialist International, an international organization of social democratic, democratic socialist and labor parties. The Party of European Socialists, a European political party active in the European Parliament, is an associated organization of Socialist International. As a non-governmental organization, Socialist International has a consultative status with the United Nations.

I assume you noticed how similar the words and phrases that I used must sound familiar to you - such as how George Bush is a terrorist, that America is intent on building a global empire, that he doesn't care about the Americans without health insurance, that he is terrorizing innocent Muslim women and children, that he and his colleagues are evil, etc. They sound familiar to you because they came directly from the talking points I obtained from some of your more prominent (translation: rabid) leftist organizations, such as International ANSWER, Code Pink, Not In Our Name, MoveOn.org, United for Peace and Justice, Peace Now, and even the Democratic Party (Chairman Howard Dean has been a god-send, er, I mean, an Allah-send!!!). Through our intermediaries, primarily Islamic charities and "humanitarian relief" organizations, Iran will continue to make sizable contributions to these organizations, as well as the "cultural studies" and "humanities" programs at your many universities.

Of course, we both know that I couldn't give an Israeli dog's butt about any of this; I've made our terrorism-exporting and caliphate-building intentions very clear. But thankfully, thanks to your abhorrent educational system, very, very few of your fellow citizens can draw the vital parallels to my interview, and the speeches by Adolph Hitler in the late 1930s, regarding his feigned desire for "peace" and "justice" and how he had absolutely no intentions to enslave Europe, and then, the world. They have no conception of history - so everything they hear, they are more than likely to lap up like puppies to warm milk.

Didn't I do good? Judging from your emails, I think I did. The blood of millions of innocent people are on my hands, and those of my aforementioned colleagues - and if I have my way, many millions more will suffer as the result of our jihad, matched with our quest for so-called weapons of mass destruction.

The only things standing in our way right now are those infidel Israeli dogs, the American people, particularly your government, and certain elements of other goverments in Europe and other regions.

So I really, really, really need you to continue excusing our murderous jihad, or at least, propagating the notion that we can be negotiated with, that we can be appeased, that if George Bush would just sit down and talk with us, we can be dissuaded from our intentions. Code-words such as "peace," "diplomacy," "justice" and "humanitarian" must be used repeatedly. We need you to continue refusing to differentiate between the murderer and the murdered, the terrorists and the terrorized, the jihadist and the committed freedom-loving peoples of the world.

Please, in the name of Allah, the merciful, continue to speak out against everything your current administration has done, is doing, and plans to do, to deal with the Iranian threat, once and for all. We only need a little more time to create our first nuclear weapon, and after that, well... Allah will tell. And most of all, keep pestering your news media with your hateful comments and diatribes, all directed at America, its history, present and future, vis a vis its "war on terror."

We both know that America is the most unjust, unfair, murderous, marauding, imperialist, malevolent nation that has ever existed in the history of the world. But, we need to temper our outrage, for the moment, to focus just on the Bush administration. For whatever his other faults that unite many if not most Americans, such as runaway spending, etc., we must continue to drive home the point that his "war on terror" is unwinnable, that he is evil, and that he is only embarking on this crusade to oppress and murder Muslim people, while enriching his friends in the oil industry.

Again, thank you - you are having a vital, timely impact on our efforts.

MSM: WHAT 3 Muslim Men With 1,000 Untraceable Cell Phones In The USA?

File this one under “If we don’t report it (or give it the prominence it’s due), then it didn’t happen, and it doesn't matter.”

Remember this when mainstream media figures claim that they cover the news in a responsible, balanced and accurate fashion, via a rational value system.

In the wee hours of Friday, August 11 - literally almost immediately after the takedown of the British Muslims who were on the cusp of attempting to blow up 10 U.S.-bound jetliners, and 11 Egyptian exchange students had gone "missing" (story) - Michigan police arrested three “middle eastern” (but not "Muslim") men from (where else?) Dearborn(istan). The suspects were in possession of 1,000 untraceable cell phones purchased in the previous few hours and days, which were being stored - and unpacked - in the back of a cargo van they'd rented. The story was first reported shortly before 6:00am that morning in the local media, here and here.

The implications of this discovery - as law enforcement, military and intelligence sources will attest - could be enormous, especially given its ominous timing.

From the first article:

"Around 1:00am August 11th the three men purchased cell phones from the Wal-Mart store on M-81 near the corner of M-24 in Caro. Wal-Mart places a limit on the number of cell phones that can be purchased at once, that number is three. The three men allegedly bought 80 by purchasing them three at time so that an alert wouldn't be triggered by the cash register. They also paid cash. An alert clerk grew suspicious and called Tuscola County central dispatch.

"The Caro Police Department sent a unit and stopped the rented van on M-81 just east of Caro. The suspects were headed towards Bad Axe on M-81 where there is another Super Wal-Mart. The three men are described as being of Palestinian descent but live in Texas. Police say the three, ages 19, 22, and 23 appear to be naturalized citizens.

"One man was driving while the other two were in the back opening the phone packages with box cutters throwing the phones in one box, batteries in another and the packaging and phone charger in another container. The suspects had 1000 other cell phones in the van. There was also a bag of receipts showing that someone was in Wisconsin the day before. The phones were Nokia TracFones selling for $20 at Wal-Mart. For your twenty dollars you receive a phone charger and 40 minutes of airtime. The phones do not have to be registered with a name. Also discovered was a laptop with store addresses and store logos.

"Tim Nausler with the Michigan State Police bomb squad says this has all the tell tale signs of using cell phones to detonate bombs. He says you need two phones to detonate a bomb one to be with the explosive and the other to make the call to that phone. In some instances he says you can detonate with one phone using the alarm clock function."

From the second article:

"All three men are from Dearborn, Michigan and all three gave similar reasons for buying the phones. (24-year-old Hashem) Sayed said he was buying them to ship to California to sell for a profit. But Washington County's sheriff says that may not be the whole truth. 'They are digital for detonating car bombs and they have a particular digital frequency and that's what they're using them for,' said Sheriff Larry Mincks."

"Mincks says the men also had instructions on how to obtain private flights and airplane passenger information. 'It also had some information concerning airport security and check points'."

Of course, these men must be presumed innocent until proven guilty. But given what law enforcement already has determined, these stories would merit high attention and placement in responsible news media.

So, did the largest-circulation newspapers and their accompanying websites feature the story prominently – or at all - as of 10:00am EST on Saturday, August 12, more than 24 hours after the story first broke?

Not a one.

So if this story wasn't important enough, what stories did the large news media decide were more important for their readers to be aware of, and which they placed in the premium "above-the-fold" space in their news summaries?

Let's take a look (viewable by clicking on the screens, above):

- Cindy Sheehan is hospitalized after her “hunger strike”

- Actor Lou Diamond Phillips is arrested

- An excessive amount of Elvis impersonators in one town

- The possible closure of a gay bar in Laguna Beach

- A woman who found "God's water" gurgling from a tree

And the mainstream media can't figure out why their customer base is shrinking, along with their trustworthiness, and that they are charged with operating according to a very different value system than that of ordinary Americans.

Nor can they figure out why they are constantly being accused of sacrificing honest, contextual reporting upon the altar of "political correctness," and of actually harming our national security.

Finally, the reader may be asking, "Well, if the story didn't show up in the MSM, where did YOU learn about it!?"

My answer is: from that most-denounced news-blog, that the MSM detests: The Drudge Report. Mere hours after this story broke, Drudge assigned this story the prominence it deserved, even amidst the wall-to-wall reporting of the British bombers.

Oh, to tell the "elite" MSM that they could take some lessons from Drudge...

An Amazing Article From A German CEO

Just when one could reasonably conclude that most of Europe and its leaders have become permanent, unrepentant antagonists regarding everything that is America, and that its member nations are willing to subvert every American effort to fight – and win – the war on Islamic terrorism, along comes a breath of fresh, inspiring “Euro-air.”

In this case, Mathias Döpfner, CEO of the large German publishing firm Axel Springer, voiced his view in a charged essay that reveals more than an honest, contextual perspective on America’s and Europe’s roles and histories in world conflicts; it showcases a uniquely independent and life-affirming value system and perspective that is undeniably “American” in nature.

Originally published in Germany’s largest-circulation daily newspaper, Die Welt on November 20, 2004, I only became aware of this article in recent days, via what is apparently a new global email campaign.

Europe, Thy Name Is Cowardice

A few days ago, Henryk M. Broder wrote in the Welt am Sonntag, "Europe — Thy Name Is Appeasement." It's a phrase you can't get out of your head because it's so painfully true. Appeasement stabilized the Communist Soviet Union and the former East Germany, those parts of Eastern Europe where inhuman, suppressive governments were glorified as the ideological alternative.

Appeasement crippled Europe when genocide ran rampant in Kosovo, and we debated and debated and were still debating when the Americans finally came in and did our work for us. Rather than protecting the only democracy in the Middle East, European appeasement, camouflaged behind the fuzzy word "equidistance," relativizes the fundamentalist Palestinian suicide bombings in Israel.

Appeasement generates a mentality that allows Europe to condone the 300,000 victims of Saddam's torture and murder machinery in Iraq and condemn the actions of George Bush in the self-righteousness of the peace movement. And in the end it is also appeasement at its most grotesque when Germany reacts to the escalating violence of Islamic fundamentalists in Holland and elsewhere by proposing a national Muslim holiday.

What else has to happen before the European public and its political leadership realize that there is a form of crusade underway, an especially perfidious one of systematic attacks by fanatic Muslims targeting civilians, directed against our free, open Western societies? This is a conflict that will likely last longer than any of the great military conflicts of the last century, waged by an adversary who cannot be tamed by tolerance and accommodation but is instead spurred on by such gestures, mistaking them as signs of weakness.

Two recent American presidents had the courage needed for staunch anti-appeasement: Reagan and Bush. Ronald Reagan ended the Cold War, and Bush — supported only by the persuasive Social Democrat politician Tony Blair — recognized the danger in the Islamic war against democracy. His place in history will need to be evaluated a number of years down the road. In the meantime, Europe snuggles into its multicultural niche instead of defending the values of a liberal society with charismatic certitude and acting as a positive center of power in a delicate balance between the true global powers, America and China.

We instead present ourselves as the world champions of tolerance against the intolerants, which even Otto Schily [Germany's former Federal Minister of the Interior] justifiably criticizes. And why, actually? Because we're so moral? I fear it's more because we're so materialistic. For his policies, Bush risks the devaluation of the dollar, huge amounts of added national debt, and a massive and lasting strain on the American economy — because everything is at stake.

Yet while America's so allegedly materialistic robber baron capitalists know their priorities, we timidly defend the benefice of our social affluence. Just stay out of it; it could get expensive. We'd rather discuss our 35-hour workweek or our dental coverage or listen to televangelists preach about the need to "Reach out to murderers."

These days, it sometimes seems that Europe is like a little old lady who cups her shaking hands around her last pieces of jewelry as a thief breaks in right next door.

Europe, thy name is Cowardice.

With all the ink spilled, and airtime and pixels that the media have been devoted to covering the private lives of celebrities, political gossip and "human interest stories" (translation: fluff), one would almost forget that within the last ten days, a jihadist strolled to a Seattle, WA Jewish Community Center, and:

• Took a teenage girl hostage at gunpoint

  .
• Attempted to murder four more unarmed civilians, including one pregnant woman

It is as if, like a carton of milk gone bad - *POOF!!!* - the media has decided, en masse, that this story merits no more attention, and instead will devote whatever page-space, airtime and pixels that such a tragedy would otherwise occupy in the main news sections to other, "more pressing stories," including but not limited to:

• The fact that teenagers who frequently listen to sexually explicit lyrics on their iPods have a higher propensity to initiate sex than those who don't listen to such lyrics (imagine that!!!; Washington Post)

• Why Paul McCartney locked his soon-to-be ex-wife, Heather Mills, out of their house (CNN)

• Janet Jackson's upcoming topless photo for Vibe Magazine (USAToday)
  .
• The morning that pyschotic, race-hustling Congresswoman Cynthia McKinney (D-GA), in a desperate bid, stood on a Georgia streetcorner, singing "disco soul tunes" (LA Times)

• How a Vermont town is wondering what to do with a 102-year-old fire station (NY Times)

And the mainstream media still cannot figure out why their customer base is shrinking, and their trustworthiness is going down faster than free cocktails at a Kennedy family reunion.

By willfully ignorning this startling story - and the fact that it is a continuation of a series of jihadist attacks on U.S. soil - the media is doing nothing short of denying the threat that militant Islam poses a real and current threat to every north American citizen, town and city.

Oh, those sweet, peace-minded jihadists that "the world community" is urging Israel to try to come to a peace accord with.

Well, here's an example of the type of "political prisoner" that the Hezbollah and Hamas butchers instigated this crisis to try to have "liberated" - as reported by in an article by the Washington Post:

"Witnesses said Qantar smashed her skull with his rifle butt... (B)y Israeli accounts, his brother took the girl and her father hostage, then shot the father and killed the girl with his rifle butt as police closed in. In addition, the girl's mother accidentally smothered another child while trying to keep her quiet in a hiding place."

The simple fact that many around the world --- and particularly, American leftists --- simply do not seem to understand, or are willing to accept, is that jihadists are not human.

They have nothing in common with human beings, aside from physical anatomy.

Yet the UN, "the world community" and American leftists keep talking about how necessary it is to come to a "peace accord" with these butchers --- as they breathlessly attempt to equivocate between what the jihadists have done, and what the Israelis are doing to fight back against their instigations of terror and murder.

Ahmadinejad Admits Providing Hezbollah With Long-Range Missiles; MSM and Leftists Yawn

According to an article in today's Jerusalem Post, Iran admitted that it has provided Hezbollah with the long-range missiles that it is now threatening to launch against Tel Aviv:

Excerpt: "Secretary-general of the 'Intifada conference' Mohtashami Pur told an Iranian newspaper that Iran transferred the missiles so that they could be used to defend Lebanon, Channel 1 reported."

This fact, combined with recordings of the Iranian "president' Mahmoud Ahmedinejad's recent threats to destroy both Israel and the United States, should give pause to every freedom-loving person around the globe.

Instead, the mainstream media and American leftists just let out one, big, collective "yawn." After all, to them, the entire middle east conflict has been caused by America and Israel, who alone bear the lion's share of guilt for every drop of blood spilled in the conflict. Thus, there is practically no coverage of these revelations - and what there is, is pointedly directed at America and Israel.

And leftists wonder why they can't win elections, why Americans don't trust them with national security, and why Jews are abandoning the Democratic Party.

Apparently, that's what happened in this instance - in which what appears to be a very secret email from the "leaders" of Hezbollah and Iran to the American left accidently ended up in MY email box!!!
