Nancy Pelosi: Madame Dhimmi

.

As in previous cases, I find myself wanting to utter the word "unbelievable" when seeing some of the antics of the Democrats on the Hill.

But three events in the last week go beyond unbelievable
--- they demonstrate both the level of dhimmitude to which leading Democrats have descended into, and indicate how they are able to take brazen advantage of most Americans' total ignorance of the most fundamental Constitutional principles and provisions at the root of our republic.

Item 1 is already old news: The Democrats bribed, cajoled, threatened and intimidated their own membership in order to gain a squeaky-thin majority to pass "The Democratic Pork, Military Spending and Surrender-to-Jihad Bill of 2007" (here).

Unfortunately, the MSM and Republicans have both been silent on the fact that Congress has two powers related to war: to declare war, and to fund it. The Congress authorized this war, not via declaration, but by deferring to the President (arguably unconstitutional in itself). They do not, however, have the power under our Constitution to dictate how a war is fought, or to dictate anything to the President of the United States concerning war, that is legally binding, anyway. More on this here.

Item 2: Nancy Pelosi appoints herself Acting Secretary Of State, or President Pro Tem --- of the United States of America,
by declaring that she is going to conduct one-on-one negotiations with Basher Assad, President of Syria, a major sponsor of Islamist terrorism (under Uncle Mahmoud's diligent tutilege). Read the story here, here and here.

Apparently, no one told her --- or the American people, via our wonderful government-run school system, and leftist-dominated MSM --- that the Speaker of the House of Representatives has absolutely no authority to conduct foreign policy, and is, in legal terms, arguably prevented from doing so.

Item 3: Nancy Pelosi refuses to allow the House of Representatives to issue a resolution condemning Iran's seizure of 15 British soldiers
(which, ironically, her counterpart in the Senate, Harry Reid, actually did permit).

According to
an AP article today:

The Senate on Thursday, before adjourning for its one-week break, passed a resolution condemning the act "in the strongest possible terms" and calling for the sailors "immediate, safe and unconditional release."

Pelosi's spokesman Brendan Daly said the speaker was reluctant to weigh in on the incident without knowing that such a message would do more good than harm. Daly said the British government had not asked Congress to try to pressure Tehran.

"The leadership discussed it and agreed that inserting Congress into an international crisis while ongoing would not be helpful," Daly said.

I see. So, applying that principle to an attack of appendicitis, were Madame Speaker a physician, she most certainly would not want to aggravate the situation by performing necessary surgery; or if she were an off-duty firefighter, she most definitely would not want to call out the fire department upon witnessing a house on fire, for fear of making the fire even angrier; and if she were... well, you get the idea.

The #1 tactic of Islamist fanatics is to intimidate into silence all of their critics and opponents.

And in the case of Speaker Pelosi, it's clear that this tactic is working like a charm.

Here we have a blatant act of war by Iran against one of our closest allies, and Madame Speaker Pelosi refuses to even allow such a declaration to be debated among U.S. Representatives. After all, she had to board Pelosi 1 to rush off to conduct illegitimate foreign policy with Basher Assad, and couldn't be troubled with considering a "provocative action" such as actually expressing outrage, and a demand for the British soldiers' immediate and safe return.

Congratulations, Democrats and leftists.

Had the American people even the most fundamental understanding of our Constitution, they would be marching in the streets to stop this insanity. But the American people have, over the last half-century, been intellectually disarmed by the leftist-dominated educational establishment, and we are now staring square into the result; the Constitution is anything we want it to be, or at least anything the Democratic leadership says it is, and provides for (e.g. a "right" to health care, a job, a home, etc.).

One thing is for damned sure:
The jihadist monsters around the world must be thanking Allah continuously for the fact that, as evidenced by Speaker Pelosi, America just took several more lurches towards dhimmitude, all within the span of barely seven days.

To coin a phrase, a heckuva job, I'd say.

The HuffPost Tipping Point - Ban JonQ (Again)

.

OK, I admit it.

Although I had fully intended to not return to HuffPost after they'd banned me for the 25th time
(see here), and in fact I did not post for nearly a month, with the leadup to and advent of "The Democratic Pork, Military Spending and Surrender-to-Jihad Bill of 2007" (here), I wanted to put in my two cents.
(Or, as the Jew-hating whackjob conspiracy theorists that infest the leftist blogosphere would put it, my two "shekels," being that they claim anyone who disagrees with them must be a paid agent of AIPAC, Mossad, or the AJC)

So I created a new login, "BanJonQforThe999thTime," and had my say. First, from secure, undisclosed locations, as my login ID and IP address were banned.

But then, for some reason, this login --- and my IP address --- were mysteriously "unbanned," several weeks ago.

Well, right up until today (March 29), when I commented on the Senate's narrow passage of this bill --- and was banned again, shortly before noon:

Gee, I wonder, was it posts like
this one that drove the HuffPost admins over the edge?

*****************AN IMPORTANT EMAIL******************
===========================================

To: American Leftists

From: Al Quada in Iraq

Date: 29 March 2007

Dear Leftists:

What wonderful news to come out of your House and Senate!!! We told you long ago that eventually you'd surrender to us, and with your continued help, it appears that day is now upon us.

We want a new infrastructure for al Quada and our affiliated organizations, especially one with something resembling an industrial base, and especially with lots and lots of oil that we can then sell on the world markets to fund our efforts.

Bush and others kept telling you all this, and yet, praise Allah, you held fast, and have now signaled America's willingness to surrender Iraq to us. But then again, we both know that this surrender represents far more.... it represents the down payment on your eventual total surrender to us.

Your monkey-faced president assured you that he'd veto this bill, and yet you still persisted. If he does indeed veto it, it will be up to YOU (less MCMentalCase and SteveSeattle, who are legally prohibited from coming within 50 feet of normal people)
to pressure your Democratic leaders and RINOs to push for an override.

As most of you are completely ignorant of your own Constitution, let me enlighten you: that means that you need 2/3 of your elected representatives to vote to overturn monkey-faced Bush's veto.

We will certainly remember your dhimmitude, and will make sure that we cut your heads off with sharp blades, as a courtesy, instead of the rusty, dull saws that we use with complete infidels.

Praise Allah, peace be upon Him, that you saw that your only course was to surrender.

Thank you again -

Ayman al Zawahri
#2 of al Quada

PS: Oh, and also, it is so very helpful to know that you are devoting your limited law enforcement and Congressional resources not into investigating and pursuing jihad in America, and all our nefarious activities... instead focusing on Republican attorneys.

Good work!!!

====================================

Wow, that's some heady endorsement, loonbats!!!

Congratulations.

What an accomplishment...

By: BanJonQforthe999thTime on March 29, 2007 at 11:29am

Well, it needed to be said --- so I (er, I mean, "Dr. Zawahri") said it.

To the friends I've met at HuffPost
(yes, indeed I've met folks there with whom I've become friends), I trust you'll keep up the good fight. Never give the off-the-charts America-subverting lunatic leftist bastards an even break (I know you won't).

I admit I was wasting too much time there. But the opportunity to confront the very folks who are supporting the leftooned leaders on the Hill --- and who are serving to only embolden our enemies, and who are poised to cause so much long-term damage to America --- can be a venture that a self-employed guy like me can find lots of fun.

To my detractors, well, I trust you'll also keep spouting off your hate, propaganda and lies, in order to defend what I believe is the indefensible.

There are a few of my detractors who, I believe, sincerely believe what they say, and say it with great eloquence. I've even found some points of theirs that I agree with. But I'd ask them, please consider addressing the raging hatred, propaganda and Jew-bashing that goes on --- almost completely unchallenged --- on those threads in which we got to know each other.

As for me, I'll just keep blogging here at JQWorld as events warrant. And I will, as always, expose the lies, hypocrisy, evasions and especially the America-bashing propaganda that sites like HuffPost, DailyKos and others in the leftoonosphere rely upon to advance their agendas.

I've proven to be devastatingly precise and effective in the past (see
here, here, here, here, here, here, and here).

I assure you, that was mere prelude. :)

UPDATE 1, MARCH 30: AL QUADA #2 THANKS HUFFPOSTERS FOR HELPING TO BAN JONQUIXOTE!!!!

Wow, who could have seen this coming??? Go to

UPDATE 2, MARCH 30:
JOE LIEBERMAN, DEMOCRATIC PARIAH, "GETS IT"

Wow, again --- I can't recall an editorial in which more truth was spoken in fewer words
(which is exactly why Lieberman is about to be savaged by the Stepford Democratic Propaganda Brigade): see USA Today editorial here.

The Secret Questions That Valerie Plame WASN'T Asked...

.

What a way to end the week, eh? Democrats censoring all the really important questions and subjects from Valerie Plame's entertainment-testimony-hearing-circus.

(Of course, it wouldn't have been complete without a pre-op transsexual CodePink lunatic in the hearing room, to support Val & Joe).

But as happens on occasion, JQWorld is sometimes privy to secret emails and documents that elude other bloggers and news sources.

This is one of those times.

So here are some of the questions that the Republicans at today's hearing (and even some Democrats) wanted answers to, but were prevented from asking by one of the House's new power-brokers, Loonbat Brigadeer General Henry Waxman (D-CA):

Q) "Mrs. Plame, how did you feel you would advance your cause by posing with your schlub hubby, Lyin' Joe Wilson, in artsy-fartsy pictures for gossip magazines?"

Q) "Mrs. Plame, is it true that you objected to our plan to play the opening song from 'Married With Children' as you entered the hearing room with Lyin' Joe Wilson? And if so, is this because you resent being referred to as the 'Al & Peg Bundy' of international intrigue?" (click here to play!)

Q) "Mrs. Plame, do you resent the fact that Patrick Fitzgerald, the Sherlock Holmes of your 'outing,' has not been, is not, and will not be investigating or prosecuting anyone for this 'outing'?"

Q) "Mrs. Plame, why did your husband lie when he testified that you had
nothing to do with sending him to Niger to drink sweet tea with arms merchants?"

Q) "And finally, Mrs. Plame, how in the WORLD did an obviously intelligent, articulate hottie like you ever end up with a schlub like Lyin' Joe Wilson?"

We could have heard the fascinating answers to all these questions, had they been asked; but of course, after 12 years in the political wilderness, snot-nosed "he-men" like Waxman were insistent on having their own way, or gaveling down their fellow committee members. So were were left with very little. We still don't have a conclusive answer (from Fitzgerald or anyone else) as to whether Mrs. Plame was a covert agent at the time of her 'outing' or wasn't.

Instead, we were treated to a back-and-forth between Henry Waxman
(he of mysterioius lineage and genetics; above) and Victoria Toensing, who is a genuine understated hottie, with a brain and backbone to match. Toensing tried to take Waxman to school on the law, but of course, he'd have none of it; he ain't gonna be showed up by some uppity Republican female attorney, now is he!?

Then again, there are worse things to do with a spring morning than having to look at a hottie like Valerie Plame. (Even Rush gave Val his Maha Rushi seal of approval!)

Still, one must wonder, how many bottles of wine did Lyin' Joe had to juice her up with to get her to marry him?

A lady never tells...

To be continued...

HuffPost: Using An Outright Lie To Foment Hate

I guess the folks behind The HuffingtonPost haven't had quite enough of being exposed, discredited and humiliated with indisputable facts regarding their actions lately, and those of the loonbatted visitors to their site (Particularly, by me - here, here and elsewhere throughout JQWorld)

Yet here we go again --- with one of the most blatant solicitations of hatred from their "commenters" based on a deliberately, demonstrably false headline, that I've seen there yet (and I've seen a LOT there).

Regardless of your views on John McCain
(mine are disclosed at the end), assuming you care about the truth, take a look at this screaming headline:

Do Condoms Help Stop Spread Of HIV? McCain: "You've Stumped Me"

Wow. So according to the HuffPost, Senator John McCain doesn't know if condoms help stop the spread of HIV? Well gee, if that's true, then of course, it'd be pretty shocking --- especially matched with that picture.

One little problem: It's a LIE --- and the HuffPost headline writers could not have avoided knowing that it's a lie.

Here
is the article that the story (NYTimes blog) cites, and below is the "money quote" --- as cited in the HuffPost thread:

Q: "So no contraception, no counseling on contraception. Just abstinence. Do you think contraceptives help stop the spread of HIV?"

Mr. McCain:
(Long pause) "You've stumped me."

Newsflash, HuffPost headline writers and commenters: McCain was NOT asked whether condoms help stop the spread of HIV. He was asked whether "contraceptives" do.

And here's yet another inconvenient truth for ya to chew on: most "contraceptives" DO NOT help stop the spread of HIV.

Contraceptives include any of a number of things --- including birth-control pills, spermicidal foams and jellies, IUDs, etc., NONE OF WHICH do ANYTHING to help stop the spread of HIV.

Condoms, which DO help to stop the spread of HIV, are also contraceptives, but that is NOT the question that was asked of McCain.

And if the HuffPost users who were so quick to condemn McCain over what he was accused of saying --- but which he did not --- would have the mental capacity to comprehend the "Quick Read" feature that HuffPost provides, (below), which contained the exact excerpt litsed above (which is also placed at the top of the thread itself), they would have realized that once again, HuffPost headline writers were deliberately misleading them.

Apparently, we can add reading comprehension to the list of the many defects that afflict the seething, rabid "new left," whose constituent members are so quick to condemn anyone, based on false, manipulated information, and which claims it has now "bought, paid for and owns" the DNC (here).

And to facilitate the rapid, easy spread of this propaganda, users are encouraged to just click on the area at lower left where it says "Spread The News!" (in the screen above), and you can instantly email this outright lie to as many folks as you want, via the screen below:

Marx, Goebbels and Mao would be SO proud... (sniff!): Ultra-speedy propagation of lies!

So, by denying what was asked, then manipulating McCain's answer, it fit the HuffPost headline writers' agenda: to skewer and discredit McCain by any means necessary, including a deliberate, outright falsehood
, which they knew --- or could reasonably anticipate, based on previous experience --- would incite hatred, hysteria and more among their "peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, diverse" body of whacked-out users.

And surprise, surprise, surprise, that was exactly the result of this latest example of misleading/false headlines at HuffPost. Here is but a sampling of comments from the "new left" --- the brigade of seething, hate-filled, America-bashing zombies --- that has taken over the DNC. Keep in mind this is just a sampling; to see the rest, go directly to
the thread:
Run McCain out of town on that stump!Jerk! What poor excuse of a politician and to think this fool thinks he's qualified to be President!!We're currently suffering threw 6 years of this BS I don't think we need another president who's so out of touch with the general population of the United States never mind the rest of the world.McCain you're a clown!**
By: chartoo on March 16, 2007 at 08:07pm

My oh my; how can there be so many damn stupid people in congress. What a complete ass this guy makes of himself.Peace to you and the world.
By: paixa3 on March 16, 2007 at 09:02pm

He's got to be dumber about HIV/AIDS even than Reagan was. That takes some doing.
By: OhioBob on March 16, 2007 at 09:03pm

Does McCain seriously think we would consider him a "serious" candidate after this?First, CFR, then illegal immigration, now condoms...what planet is John on?Do we need age limits on candidates?
By: blurredtruth on March 16, 2007 at 09:06pm

Well, that solves that: McCain is officially a moron. There are teenagers who know that condoms stop the spread of HIV. For McCain to be so uninformed -- or unwilling to give a real opinion so as not to piss off the Bible belters -- is inexcusable.
By: massive on March 16, 2007 at 09:08pm

How could that be? We've known about HIV/AIDS for years, its mechanism has been decoded and we even have vaccines. Little schoolkids know what AIDS is. What's not to know about it?Oh, right. McCain is a Republican. Nevermind.
By: grainger5 on March 16, 2007 at 09:15pm

How many years in Congress? How many briefings? Has he ever read a newspaper? Of course he is pandering to the religious right, but he is also playing with the lives of his constituents. He is unfit to serve.
By: sissymonster on March 16, 2007 at 09:15pm

This article was painful to read. The man is losing his mind. His wife and advisors really need to set him down and tell him that he's got no chance to be nominated. Get him off the road and out of the race. They can save him alot of embarrassment.
By: deeintexas on March 16, 2007 at 09:19pm

OK, so Mr. Straight-Talk Express can't give a straight answer. Lame. What's wrong, John? Not allowed to have your own opinion? Pitiful.Do you *really* need to go talk to your handlers before having a mind of your own? Pathetic.
By: CapedCrusader on March 16, 2007 at 09:25pm

LOFL"you've stumped me"What a coincidence ... that's what the pedophilia lovin republicans say every time they swap positions with the local GOP children! The GOP ... way out of their closet ... and well into yours!
By: CarlVVV on March 16, 2007 at 09:34pm

This is really not funny. The guy is a typical far right dipshit. Dangerous people.Man, this takes the cake. This will look VERY bad for us if the world sees that we put yet another idiot in charge. Think about it. Stupid enough to keep Bush in office two terms and now, another one? Don't do it BJ. Even if it means you having to vote for Hillary....... haha/hohowhat next?
By: ExRepublican on March 16, 2007 at 09:40pm

Perhaps it's dementia, perhaps he thinks it doesn't affect him so, why bother knowing. Whatever the case, MCCAIN is a LOSER. He DOES NOT represent his state and does not deserve to be commander in chief.
By: queeraz on March 16, 2007 at 10:07pm

If he wasn't a typical lying Republican who supports torture and an illegal war, I'd feel sorry for him because clearly he is becoming senile. He should know about condoms as all military guys were issued condoms to prevent VD during Vietnam.
By: FoolsontheHill on March 16, 2007 at 10:11pm

The h*ll with being president! Why is McCain still allowed to vote?
By: Michael7843853 on March 16, 2007 at 10:17pm

This comment by McCain is so unresponsible words fail to describe....I'm sick of the Republix party's attempt to muddy the waters of science to the point of risking and taking the lives of others. It's just effing infuriating. How the hell can anyone take someone like that seriously? Thankfully he's jumped the shark... no way this guy's gonna be the nominee.
By: Clevelandchick on March 16, 2007 at 10:34pm

Cool. Then bend over, John, and let me plow a load into you bareback.A few months later you'll be wishing you were pro-condom, Bitch.
By: leoninearies on March 16, 2007 at 10:40pm

Oh come on McCain! Have you lost your fucking mind? You insult us with your answer, which is,"I can't answer that because I have to check to see wht my handlers tell me my position on this is." Is that the kind of president you would be? At least Bush can tell you what he thinks, even if it doesn't jive with 2/3 of the country. You are a disgrace, sir! Don't come out on your bullshit express bus and expect us to take you seriously with comments like that. What do you take us for? Damn man, have you just lost you mind, or what?
By: whereisJesus on March 16, 2007 at 10:45pm

When I was young I really thought that in order to run and hold office you had to be really, really smart. Damn was I a fool! McCain doesn't know about basic sex, Bush can't open his mouth without someone telling him what lie to tell. If he speaks extemporaneously(say that if you can shrub) he can't even put a simple sentence together. If an alien race comes here after we've made ourselves extinct, I don't think they are going to find as as being very bright.
By: TheHandyman on March 16, 2007 at 11:04pm

Sorry to spring that NEW HIV/AIDS subject on ya grandpa.MOTHERF*CKER! how many years have we been educating people about HIV?oh Yeah, 25 years, and how many of those G*D DAMN years have you been a Senator..oh yeah ALL OF THEM!
By: underbear1 on March 17, 2007 at 12:01am

Why do all these Republicans need someone to lead them by the hand,is it possible the shrub is the smart one?
All the testimony from these old farts sounds like a geriatric Altzeimer daycare center. These are the people running our country, sending our boys to die, starting wars.............
By: bushmocker on March 17, 2007 at 12:16am

Did he really go from being his own man to being a fucking jerk?
By: JoeO on March 17, 2007 at 01:13am

Some commenters asked why McCain is still allowed to vote in the Senate.

I would argue that it's folks like these commenters who are FAR less qualified to vote if they cannot comprehend two simple sentences, provided up-front by HuffPost, that expose the lie that this headline represents. Oops, I forgot... these are the "enlightened, caring, sharing, loving, peaceful, tolerant and inclusive" among our society. Yeah.

Oh, and a note to the HuffPost techies:
It doesn't matter if you surgially scrub this thread of all these comments, or remove the thread altogether; I've saved the entire thing to a PDF to prove that it existed --- which I neglected to do re the infamous "Cheney Thread."

DISCLOSURE: MY OWN VIEW ON JOHN McCAIN:

As a conservative libertarian, I cannot support McCain for president.

Although I enormously respect his service in our military, and the character which enabled him to endure and move beyond the horrendous abuse he suffered for years at the hands of his captors, I beleive he has gone way off the rails of the libertarian foundation upon which America was built, and our Constitution is constructed.

Most notably, I contend the McCain-Feingold campaign finance "reform" bill was among the most blatant, naked assaults on freedom of speech in recent history, and his endless compromises with leftists in the Senate is getting to the point of being intolerable.

Sen. McCain does speak forcefully and with principle when he discusses the war that jihadist lunatics have declared on America, and his statements on free markets and economic liberty are in line with my own. I admire his tireless efforts to expose and combat pork-barrel spending, for which he's gotten no shortage of criticism from both Democratic and Republican colleagues and vested interests. That takes real courage.

But if his views on something as fundamental as free speech are based on so shallow an interpretation of individual liberty, of the right to support candidates of your choice with financial contributions up to and including the waning days of an election cycle, then his entire outlook must be suspect to criticism.

To disagree with Sen. McCain on what he actually says and does is one thing. It's called "principled dissent," which is apparently something that is all but totally lost on the loonbatted, hate-riddled "new left" in America.

But to deliberately manufacture falsehoods about him, then incite hateful, insane comments from a group of folks who have a demonstrated propensity for such lunacy, is completely irresponsible. Especially for someone like Arianna Huffington and her editors, who charge advertisers a small fortune to place their ads on this "heavily-visited" blogsite, and who claim to represent the "enlightened," moral segment of American society.

John McCain has earned the right to a high level of respect and dignity, for all the service he has rendered to America, despite how much some of us may disagree with some of his policies.

John McCain is entitled to a retraction and apology for HuffPost, immediately ---- and to facilitate this, even though I am not a fan of his, I will be emailing this blogthread to him.

HuffPosters Strike Again: BushCo More Evil Than Al Quada Leader

Fans of JQWorld are well aware of the level of detail that went into documenting the infamous "Cheney Thread," in which the most seething, loonbatted, hate-filled leftists ---- who comprise the "new base" of the Democratic Party ---- expressed on The Huffington Post their profound regret that the Taliban failed in its effort to assassinate Vice President Cheney during his trip to Afghanistan. For those of you who missed it, read it all, here.

Tonight, I got a tip that the HuffPosters are at it again --- only this time:

- An argument could be made that they have notched up their loonbattedness to unprecedented levels, in that they are now claiming or implying that Khaleed Sheikh Mohammed --- the mastermind behind 9/11, and who is now reported to have finally confessed to it --- is actually innocent, or confessed to a crime he didn't commit due to "torture," or that this entire story is just a lie being concocted by the Bush administration

- I grabbed PDF files of a significant portion of the entire thread (so Queen Arianna and her minions can't claim, as they did in re the Cheney thread, that such comments only comprised a "miniscule portion" of the comments, which it then looked like --- only after they'd surgically scrubbed the thread to give it that appearance); see here

- As a result of what I've seen tonight, I will never again call any HuffPosters "HuffTards," because I now realize that it is a cruel insult to retarded people. Unlike the hateful, insane, psychopathic whackjobs who were posting on this thread tonight, retarded people are generally benevolent, peaceful, and far more intelligent. In short, retarded people would be eminently preferable as fellow citizens for normal, patriotic Americans.

Here's where it started (see upper-right corner):

Here is an excerpt of the AP story that was cited at the top of the thread, here, and the Department of Defense press release containing the transcript is here.
WASHINGTON - Khalid Sheikh Mohammed, the suspected mastermind of the Sept. 11 attacks, confessed to that attack and a string of others during a military hearing at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba, according to a transcript released Wednesday by the Pentagon.

Mohammed claimed responsibility for planning, financing, and training others for bombings ranging from the 1993 attack at the World Trade Center to the attempt by would-be shoe bomber Richard Reid to blow up a trans-Atlantic flight with explosives hidden in his shoes.

In all, Mohammed said he was responsible for planning 29 individual attacks, including many that were never executed. The comments were included in a 26-page transcript released by the Pentagon, which also blacked out some of his remarks.
And according to a report from Bloomberg, citing DoD transcripts, Mohammed said the following:
"I was the military operational commander for all foreign operations around
the world,"
under the leadership of Osama bin Laden, Mohammed said in a
statement read to a tribunal at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba by a U.S. military officer
acting as his personnel representative.

Mohammed's list of terrorist operations he oversaw included the 1993 World Trade Center bombing, an attack on a nightclub in Bali, Indonesia, and planned attacks on buildings in New York, Chicago, California and Washington state, according to the transcript released yesterday.
Wow. The first thing one might consider is the fact that we actually gave Mohammed a chance to explain himself, rather than immediately putting a bullet in his brain once we knew who we'd captured, given the very, very, very extensive history we had on him, which is why he was such a high-value military (not law-enforcement) target.

But no, we are Americans. Instead, we gave him what we give all detainees at Camp Gitmo: gourmet Islamic meals, brand-new Korans, prayer rugs, comfy cots, and groovy orange jumpsuits. Which is a hell of a lot more than al Quada and their devout affiliates give U.S. soldiers that they capture (do I need to post videos of beheadings? the dragging of their dying bodies through the streets, to be torn apart by savage Islamists?).

Oh, and as the story indicates, he was given a "personal representative," in the form of none other than a U.S. military officer.

Yes, please, tell me about other nations that would provide all this to a psychopathic mass-murderer who was the military commander of the jihadist nutjobs who declared war on America.

==========================================================

NOW, with that background... let's get back to the notorious Huffington Post, and that "miniscule portion" of what Queen Arianna referred to as "unhinged, fringe" commenters that visit their wisdom on her site. We need to get to this before her tech minions start scrubbing the most outrageous posts away, like they now say is their official policy.

The following is but a sampling of the estimated
200 comments that were posted as of 1:50am on Wednesday night (HuffPost has stopped posting total numbers of comments, so this is an estimate of the 8 pages of lunacy, at an average of 25 comments per page).

But before we begin, as you read, pay close attention to the following three things, the most egregious examples of which I've highlighted in RED:

1) The misconception that has been drummed into an ever-larger portion of our population by leftist "journalists" and "educators," that enemy combatants who do not abide by the rules of war as established by the Geneva Convention are entitled to slick trial lawyers and access to our legal system. To the contrary, they are ONLY entitled to a military tribunal and humane treatment while our guests at Camp Gitmo until their status is adjudicated --- and if they are found guilty, a proper (non-Islamist) execution.

2) The indictment that this brigade of lunatics is making against our soldiers, en masse, whom they claim to "support," yet in this thread claim are acting like Nazis, that they are all torturing prisoners at random and sadistically, being led by those most prominent modern Nazis, Bush and Cheney.

3) The obligatory conspiracy theories, that 9/11 was not perpetrated by al Quada as part of the war they declared on America, as they have admitted and congratulated themselves for time and time again ---- but rather, was part of a gigantic Bush-Cheney-Halliburton-Diebold-PNAC-etc., etc., etc. conspiracy.

OK, are you ready?
Good. Just make sure you have your anti-indigestion medicine nearby --- you may well need it. OK, let's go --- before the HuffPost admins start scrubbing this thread, just as they did the Cheney one...

If you individually pulled the hairs out of my ass and nailed me with a frozen cactus, I'd admit to inventing the magnolia tree too.
By: afraidtoland on March 14, 2007 at 08:10pm

Wow, this guy was a tough nut to crack. It took them 3+ years to torture a confession out of him. Did he confess to sinking the Titanic? Wearing women's underwear? Dealing coke to Bush in the 70's?This is pathetic. We're the laughingstock of the world!
By: revoltnow on March 14, 2007 at 08:13pm

they tortured him......It is wrong. we should never torture anybody.and they probably had him confess under torture years ago....and brought it out now to distract from the Attorney Generallisimo problem.Confessions under torture are not admitting to doing something. Maybe he did mastermind, but they shouldn't torture anybody. It is wrong. Morally wrong. Get it, Fascists?
By: ghostsofAmerica on March 14, 2007 at 08:16pm

Even if the confession is true, it's inadmissable because of the circumstances of the interrogation. This is sad because Bush's policies have made the treatment of enemy combatants a laughing stock in front of the whole world.
By: subway on March 14, 2007 at 08:17pm

This Mohammed guy's been tortured in Guantanamo to come up with a story ignorant Americans will buy. Bullshit baffles brains.
By: midtown on March 14, 2007 at 08:18pm

This guy is a Sunni and part of the Muslim Brotherhood out of Kuwait and Egypt aka Mujahideen. The mujahideen were significantly financed, armed, and trained by the United States Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) during the Carter and Reagan administrations, Saudi Arabia, the People's Republic of China, several European countries and Pakistan (during the Zia-ul-Haq military regime). The Pakistani Inter-Services Intelligence (ISI) was the interagent used in the majority of these activities to disguise the sources of support for the resistance in Afghanistan. This is very bad news for the Bush/Cheney swine herd and the current leadership in Pakistan. Are the 9/11 Conspiracy nuts not so insane after all?
By: getoffmedz on March 14, 2007 at 08:19pm

Of course he was responsible for all aspects of 9-11.How old is he again ? Maybe he killed JFK as well.Anything to keep the light of day off of who was really responsible.
By: Harvo on March 14, 2007 at 08:22pm

Wait ... this guy is the "mastermind" of 9/11? That's the worst picture of Dick Cheney I ever saw!
By: visualizechimpeachment on March 14, 2007 at 08:26pm

Could someone in the "jounalist" field, please get word to the Fascists that the public is already ahead of them on this story?...could we just get to the impeachment? From someone who exprienced waterboarding a first-hand report:"You can hold out on the waterboard...for about as long as your breath holds out. Then, cued by the lack of oxygen, the body's autotonic nervous system goes into panic. This is quite different from mind panic, which can be consciously controlled with practice. Body panic is beyond control of your mind. What the mind is doing is frantically spinning, trying to make ANYTHING that could be said, to make it stop...just for a moment for a full breath."Emphasis on SAY ANYTHING...
By: beaver on March 14, 2007 at 08:30pm

water board and he would have confessed to killing Cock Robin and kidnapping the Lindburg baby. Maybe he's guilty of many things but confessions without corroberation don't mean much. Do they? If you already had the verifying evidence what value is a coerced confession?
By: scottymac11 on March 14, 2007 at 08:32pm

The United States is now the penultimate pariah state. If I were an average American I WOULD NOT be expecting any sympathy for any future events from foreigners. Expect a lot of people turning their backs. It surprising how many average people I speak with on a daily basis who view the USA as a lost cause. Now, when they said this "terrorist" confessed to may other things, did he also confess to kidnapping the Lindhberg baby?
By: PatrickWalker on March 14, 2007 at 08:42pm

Hearings in SECRET with no outside independent verification of the Pentangle's released 'side of the story'...So you tortured a confession, then allowed no outside observers as the confession was read in TRIBUNAL, then after nothing but lies from day 1 of this administration, you want us to just swallow whatever they say came out of their TORTURE...as the TRUTH???
Eat shit and die, YOU soldiers HAVE LESS HONOR THAN THE MAN YOU CONDEMN!

Oh my, how convenient, and timely, for another Bush poll ratings bump. Couldn't have anything to do with obscuring the growing media attention on the rampant fraud and corruption throughout the entire Reflublican Party, could it? Just me, I guess, a born cynic! The clothes he's wearing at the table are, no doubt, the first cover he's had since being whisked off to that Halliburton built shit hole, in the dead of night. Trust a Guantanamo confession... ummmmmmmm, NO!
By: Mummyscurse on March 14, 2007 at 08:57pm

It is now generally admitted that Ali Mohamed worked for the FBI, the CIA, and U.S. Special Forces. Patrick Fitzgerald, who testified to the 9/11 Commission about Ali Mohamed, knew him well. In 1994 he had named him as an unindicted co-conspirator in the New York landmarks case, yet allowed him to remain free. This was because, as Fitzgerald knew, Ali Mohamed was an FBI informant, from at least 1993 and maybe 1989.(3) Thus, from 1994 "until his arrest in 1998 [by which time the 9/11 plot was well under way], Mohamed shuttled between California, Afghanistan, Kenya, Somalia and at least a dozen other countries."(4)...."

Really though when you thnk about it if he confesses to every terrorist attack on this country it makes us all look like dumb asses, Oh, wait, we are.
By: birdman on March 14, 2007 at 09:19pm

We find similar symptomatic resistance in the 9/11 Report.1) Here is an easy example: the identity of the hijackers. The FBI had distributed a list naming 18 of the 19 alleged hijackers by 10 AM on 9/11.2Within two weeks the identities of at least six of the hijackers were unclear; as men in Arab countries with the same ..."---------------bait and switch.. .this is the real insider, worked for CIA and FBI and special forces.Patsies, and Moles, read Webster Tarpley's SYNTHETIC TERROR.

By: stro2425 on March 14, 2007 at 09:40pm

Again, it was an inside job, and it might be possible that some of the Arabs on the FBi list had something to do with it -- if only as a gaggle of patsies, kind of like the Miami 7. There is enough reported to bring up serious questions of all the contruction work that went on in the North and South towers. The control of the security agency was in the hands of Marvin Bush, who took control that Year. Silverstein bought the buildings that year and not only saved a bundle on the proposed cleanup of Asbestos, he made $7 Billion from the extra insurance he put on it, after only millions of $ to take control of it. Anyway, many have heard it all before. It stinks to high heaven, but I'm sure this will run on Fox news for a while. This would be the second Actual arrest, but based on tortured confessions. There isn't enough left of these people to verify the government's claims. Pretty sick.

1 - With Osama Bin Laden dead the administration needs a new scapegoat or dupe.2 - This announcement is most likely a distraction because the Bush/Cheney swine herd is on very thin ice of late.3 - They picked the wrong dupe because this one is Sunni and a member of the Muslim Brotherhood or mujahideen via Kuwait and Saudi Arabia with little or no connection to Iran and was CIA-trained.4 - Most likely this "mastermind" was tortured which makes his confession very suspect.5 - If anything, this may re-ignite the investigation into 9/11. Hello Congress!
By: getoffmedz on March 14, 2007 at 10:04pm

What a crock of s**t. If these people were really behind 9/11 they would be televised hearings. All this stuff is done in secret and with torture. How about that Alianaz Insurance doesn't want to pay Larry Silverstein. Maybe the gig is up.

By: Cid on March 14, 2007 at 10:59pm

A confession coerced by torture and a military tribunal conducted in secret? Our government has done us all a great disservice, because we will never know the truth about this man or any other detainee at Guantanamo. Given the Bush Administration's track record, I'd sooner believe that Paris Hilton was the mastermind behind 9/11.
By: buddhistMonkey on March 14, 2007 at 11:06pm

excuse my cynicism... but how the hell do we know what is in the transcripts, or if they are the real transcripts?I don't believe a fricking thing that is said by these people any more.I am so done with trusting one thing that they utter.bunch a murdering, torturing, thieving, rotten, fricking criminal thugs!

They forgot to claim, that Khalid Sheikh Mohammed was responsible for also initiating the Iraq war, causing the under-water explosion that created the Tsunami, and finally for a grand finale, the act of blowing up the levee in new Orleans. My god, you would've thought that with the amount of torture they gave him, he would've sung like a bird, and admitted anything. Putin, will swear he was the one who put the plans into operation to also murder and poison the Russian spy. I guess anything Khalid Sheikh Mohammed is supposed to be responsible for, could never be the creative uttering of the Guantanamo Gang, who are working in secret torture facilities, hoping you will believe that it makes their work of extracting evidence in Guantanamo all the more worthwhile and legitimate. You must take it on faith, with no cameras in the court, and no court at all, after all the generous government of yours, has given you the court judge for the trial hearings of Anna Nicole.George W. Bush be praised, I don't think so. American justice at it's finest, I don't think so. Another timely distraction for the media, I think so. Shameful either way. Oh by the way, thanks for finally letting us know.
By: RandyRanson on March 14, 2007 at 11:11pm

Yes, it's pretty hard holding on to the moral high ground and spew righteous indignation when... You invade a country, kill over 600,000 innocent civilians, open up torture camps, turn millions into refugees and steal their resources.

If the war on terror is about to wind down as the second in command at the Pentagon says it has to, then why is Halliburton building a huge prison complex at Guantanomo? I have a great idea who we should put in there. Let the trials of the Bush clown circus begin.

BULLSH*T! I wouldn't believe this if it was delivered by God herself!Do this in open court, with proper legal procedures, on TV, with a jury and a proper mechanism for appeal."We hold these truths to be self-evident, that ALL men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights"....ALL means exactly that... A L L!
By: 1TruthTeller on March 15, 2007 at 01:01am

Maybe you believe in such coincidences. I don't. There's no conspiracy. It was blatant. Most people will believe anything besides the truth if the truth is horrifying enough.I didn't schedule the exercises that morning. You can deride me all you want but the truth remains. No matter which way you spin it--did the enemy have foreknowledge of those exercises which would absolutely guarantee their success?--or did those exercises serve as cover for the diabolical plan that would otherwise have never been realized? For the events to have unfolded as they did, their was either unbelievable luck...or complicity. It's really that simple. And that horrifying.

Well, well, well. And that's only 8 pages into the "miniscule portion" of loonbatted, whackjob, "unhinged, fringe" comments posted.

Behold --- the "new base" of the Democratic Party, to whom the "most ethical Congress in history" has already surrendered, as noted mere days ago, here on JQWorld --- right before they also surrendered to Fox News Channel, here.
And with all this, it's a wonder why the jihadists think Americans --- under modern Democratic "leadership" --- are primed and ready for dhimmitude.

Even as an atheist, I feel compelled to say, "God bless America --- we're gonna need it."

UPDATE 1, MARCH 15:

The only thing missing from this story is how, once exposed, the HuffPost loonbats claiming that all those offensive commenters were part of a "vast right-wing conspiracy" to make leftists look bad... how these are not regular commenters and therefore must be "trolls," or "stooges" for the RNC or BushCo... as they did on the Cheney thread, here.

SO predictable!!!

UDPATE 2, MARCH 15: "KSM" WRITES TO THANK THE HUFFPOST CROWD!!!

A CONFIDENTIAL EMAIL

To: HuffingtonPost Loonbats

From: Khaleed Sheikh Mohammed

Date: 15 March 07

Dear Loonbats and Aspiring Dhimmis:

I want to thank you for all your supportive comments on this thread and all the others where you've expressed the view that, compared to the Bush-Cheney-Halliburton-Diebold-PNAC conspiracy cabal, I am a virginal Boy Scout. I can't tell you how much it means to me to know that I have such support from the loonbats who have "bought and paid for and own" your party (
http://www.frontpagemag.com/Articles/ReadArticle.asp?ID=16284)

Nevermind those idiot, racist, Islamophobic folks like that infidel bastard JonQuixote, who has documented so extensively the err of your ways - you and I both know that YOU are right:
http://jonquixoteworld.blogspot.com/2007/03/huffposters-strike-agai...

Keep ignoring our training manuals in which we're instructed to allege abuse where there has been none, just to garner sympathy from the world's loonbatted media. JQ won't.

I and my friends in al Quada attacked America because, as you say over and over and over, you all deserved it. Your repeated claims that the attacks of 9/11 were all a BushCo conspiracy give us jihadists no shortage of laughter, however, and with each passing day, your conspiracy theories just get whackier.

But hey, being a vicious jihadist, being treated so fairly and courteously here at Gitmo, it is a joy to hear how you berate your own people, and accuse them of far worse things than I've done. Gourmet halal meals, comfy cots, groovy orange jumpsuits, tropical breezes... what a life!!!

They only give me 10 minutes on the Web, and I still have to download the ACLU's arguments on my behalf, you know, so I can get a slick trial lawyer like John Edwards, to whom I will be making a significant campaign contribution.

Have a nice day, you loonbatted dhimmis... and remember...

ALLAHU AKBAR!!!!!!!!!!!!

Your pal,

Khaleed

PS: Send me an audio file of one of Howard Dean's rants, k? I enjoy those OH so much!!!-KSM.

The Iranian Whinery Over "300"

Well isn't that special.

An advisor to the Jabba the Hut of jihad, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, is complaining that Hollywood, via the new film "300," is insulting Persian culture.

From The People's Daily Online (China; hat tip DrudgeReport):

Javad Shamqadri, an art advisor to President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, accused the new movie of being "part of a comprehensive U.S. psychological war aimed at Iranian culture", said the report.

Shamqadri was quoted as saying "following the Islamic Revolution in Iran, Hollywood and cultural authorities in the U.S. initiated studies to figure out how to attack Iranian culture," adding "certainly, the recent movie is a product of such studies."

The movie's effort wound be fruitless, because "values in Iranian culture and the Islamic Revolution are too strongly seated to be damaged by such plans", said the Iranin official.
Gee. I wonder if perhaps Iran's training, justifying, arming and supporting the most vicious, bloodthirsty Islamist murderers in the world, and teaching them that their highest duty is to die while killing civilians, and to fit their children for suicide belts in preparation for bombing pizzarias and malls, might have something to do with the dim view that clear-thinking people have of the Iranian "culture?" Or their "president's" professed desire to cause a global holocaust in order to faciliate the appearance of the "12th mahdi"?

Naw, I'm sure all that has absolutely nothing to do with it. Nothing at all.

But hey, here's to Hollywood for putting out a movie that gets this kind of reaction from one of the world's most notorious madmen (instead of continuing its history of appeasing, romanticizing or worshipping other bloodthirsty murderers, such as Castro, Stalin, Mao, Che, et al).

Dems Surrender to MoveOn.org; What Chance Have They Against Jihad?

Oh, my, my, my.

The Democratic candidates for the 2008 Presidential race
have summarily picked up their toys and gone home, rather than honoring their agreement to participate in a televised debate that was to be co-hosted by the (evil!) Fox News Channel, in Nevada.

Did they realize that they won't be tossed the softball questions from the swooning MSM that they have traditionally relied upon to make them look good? Or that the accepted premise that no matter what they say, they "mean well" (whereas non-leftists are just, well, "mean"), would be challenged?
Or was it that the Dems and their seething, leftarded, loonbatted base decided it would be better for them to take the hit now, rather than to stand up to FNC and be scrutinized in a "fair and balanced" way?

NO, apparently the DNC's stunning "cut and run" was due to pressure and threats from the tin-foil hat nutjobs at MoveOn.org who claim they have "bought and paid for and own"* the DNC? (*see here and here and here). From the speed with which the DNC did an about-face, it's clear that MoveOn.org isn't just blowing smoke --- they do own the DNC, lock, stock and barrel.

If the DNC can't even stand up to MoveOn.org or the Fox News Channel, what possible chance do they have against jihadist butchers and their enablers, who must now be laughing their asses off at the prospect of a Democratic president in 2008?!

Let's keep a close eye on who the jihadists (and their apologists in CAIR, etc.) direct their money, support and endorsements to in the 2008 election circus.

===========================

UDPATE 1, MARCH 12: ONLY A FEW WEEKS AGO, DINGY HARRY REID WAS EXCITED FOR THE DEMS TO PARTICIPATE IN THIS DEBATE

From
The Politico:

In announcing the event, a statement posted by the state Democratic Party has Reid offering high praise of the debate partnership with Fox.

“This is more great news for Nevada,” he said in the statement. “I'm happy FOX News will be a partner for the August presidential debate. Western issues will be a major focus of this debate in particular. With FOX News as our partner, candidates will have an opportunity to not only speak to Nevada voters, but voters across the West who will be instrumental to electing a Democratic president in 2008.

Ailes lauded the idea, too: “FOX News is proud to be a leader in coverage of the 2008 campaign season and a co-host of this important presidential debate. We look forward to working with the Nevada Democratic Party and the Western Majority Project."

But apparently MoveOn.org demanded that the DNC summarily withdraw from the debate (is this "cut and run" or "strategic redeployment"?), and like good little minions, Harry Reid and the rest of the MoveOn.org-"owned" Democrats snapped to attention and promptly surrendered the Nevada theater of battle to Fox News.

March 14 - Update at HotAir here.

March 14 - Update 2: Apparently the Nevada Democratic Party has been taking lessons in reality-manipulation and -denial from HuffPost (see here and here)... because the link to the press release listed above, in which Reid expresses his happiness at FNC hosting this debate is *poof* GONE!!! Just like it never existed.

The link now only produces a blank page. But if you do a search on the key words highlighted, you'll find plenty of citations to the mystery press release. News flash, Democrats: Just taking down a key link doesn't change the reality that the press release was genuine, and was accurately quoted.

==================================

UPDATE 2, MARCH 12 - THIS JUST IN!!!

"My name is Ayman al Zawahiri, #2 in command of al Qaeda, and I approve this message:

"We heartily endorse John Edwards for President of the United States!!! He is the living embodiment of the spineless, sissified American that we jihadists believe you to be, and with him at the helm of your infidel nation, we know that it'll only be a matter of time before he sees the need to negotiate your surrender to us. After all, Edwards can't even stand up to that infidel Fox News Channel. So please, you Democrats, see that Edwards is your nominee!!!

"Thank you, you infidel pigs, and may Allah (PBUH) strike you down if you don't follow my request!!! (Well, he's going to strike you down anyway, but via this method, you can buy yourselves a little more time)."

==============================================

UPDATE 3, MARCH 12 - THIS JUST IN!!!

SOCIALIST DENNIS KUCINICH SHOWS SPINE, DENOUNCES DNC SISSIES

Whoa!!!

Where did THIS come from!?!? (Hat tip:

DrudgeReport)

Representative Dennis Kucinich (D-OH), one of the most loonbatted, leftist members of Congress, came out today with a HUGE swipe against Edwards, the DNC and by extension, the seething leftards at MoveOn.org. Excerpt:

If you want to be the President of the United States, you can’t be afraid to deal with people with whom you disagree politically,” Kucinich said. “No one is further removed from Fox’s political philosophy than I am, but fear should not dictate decisions that affect hundreds of millions of Americans and billions of others around the world who are starving for real leadership.”

Kucinich said “the public deserves honest, open, and fair public debate, and the media have a responsibility to demand that candidates come forward now, before the next war vote in Congress, to explain themselves.”

“I’m prepared to discuss the war, health care, trade, or any other issue anytime, anywhere, with any audience, answering any question from any media. And any candidate who won’t shouldn’t be President of the United States.”

WOW!!! And although there's almost no one I disagree with more on pretty much every issue than Kucinich, how refreshing it is to hear any Democrat (even those like him, who are cloaked socialists) come out with this kind of backbone, and Jeffersonian principles (limited as they are, to open public debate; we'll discuss his and others socialists' attempts to subvert our Constitution, economic liberty, property rights, etc., another time).

Kudos, Dennis, from JQWorld.
