Hillary's Stealth Socialist Manifesto

From the "here we go again" file...

Today, Sen. Hillary Clinton was
quoted as saying the following to an audience of teenagers at a Manchester, New Hampshire vocational high school:

"(I)t's time to replace an 'on your own' society with one based on shared responsibility and prosperity."

The Democratic senator said what the Bush administration touts as an "ownership society" really is an "on your own" society that has widened the gap between rich and poor.

"I prefer a 'we're all in it together' society," she said. "I believe our government can once again work for all Americans. It can promote the great American tradition of opportunity for all and special privileges for none."

"Fairness doesn't just happen. It requires the right government policies."

I see.

Why is Hillary able to get away with such sociailist-driven pablum, and nary a reporter nor colleague in the Senate bats a (well-coiffed) eyelash? Could it be that our institutions have so indoctrinated us to believe that what she describes is the basis for a "fair" society, that we cannot discern her real ideological roots?

Consider the following:

95% of American adults cannot answer 10 of the most basic questions about the U.S. Constitution --- yet nearly 70% now believe (or don't know if) it contains Karl Marx's communist principle, "From each according to his ability, to each according to his needs" (up from 45% in 1987).
(Center for Survey Research & Analysis, University of Connecticut, “The State Of The First Amendment, 2001”; Caravan Group’s 2002 survey of 1012 U.S. adults 18 and older, for Columbia Law School, cited in “Americans Don’t Know Their Constitution: Columbia Law Survey Finds Confusion Over Founding Fathers vs. Karl Marx”; “The American Public's Knowledge of the U.S. Constitution: A Hearst Report,” 1987)

81% of Democrats, 65% of Independents, and 46% of Republicans surveyed in 2003 agreed that the government “has a responsibility to guarantee food and housing” to all Americans.
(“The 2004 Political Landscape,” Pew Research Center for People and the Press, Part 4, 11/03)

American adults can correctly answer only 57% of the questions on a survey of basic economic concepts. For example, 42% are unaware that when the demand for a product increases, but the quantity supplied doesn’t, that prices will rise; only 34% can identify profits as revenues minus costs. 55% of adults, and 59% of high school students, do not understand that there would be fewer apartments available than people want to rent if a city government sets a maximum amount that landlords can charge in rent.
(Louis Harris & Associates survey of 1,010 U.S. adults, for the National Council on Economic Education, cited in “Standards in Economics: Survey of Students and the Public,” 7/99)

Next, consider what one of America's greatest Founders, Thomas Jefferson, had to say about economic freedom and individual rights (the basis of the U.S. Constitution, which is all but totally unknown to most Americans, and especially young Americans):

A wise and frugal government which shall restrain men from injuring one another, which shall leave them otherwise free to regulate their own pursuits of industry and improvement, and shall not take from the mouth of labor the bread it has earned. This is the sum of good government.

To take from one because it is thought that his own industry and that of his father's has acquired too much, in order to spare to others, who, or whose fathers have not exercised equal industry and skill, is to violate arbitrarily the first principle of association --- the guarantee to every one of a free exercise of his industry and the fruits acquired by it.

Lastly, consider Sen. Clinton's comments in relation to their indisputable sources:

The Communist Manifesto

Socialist Party USA

And it's a wonder why the teacher's unions and the entire public school-ocracy --- which is the single largest financial contributor to the campaigns of Democrats like Sen. Clinton --- are so deathly opposed to any proposal for school choice and vouchers. After all, this entrenched, tax-funded monopoly of incompetence and socialist indoctrination is a direct descendant of Marx, as is so abundantly evidenced in the stats I cited above... and is entirely dependent upon those "public minded" civil servants like Sen. Clinton for its very survival.

But alas, as in so many other instances pointed out here at JQWorld, if the MSM and others who report and comment on the news refuse to acknowledge the tyrannical philosophical roots of statements by our supposed and aspiring "leaders," like Sen. Clinton, does it really matter?

Yes, it does.

A lot.

Have a nice day.

After posting this story, I recalled seeing a recent survey that startled me, and even the leftists who conducted it, because its findings show some hope for the future of liberty in America --- precisely due to the fact that they kick the legs out from under Sen. Clinton's socialistic ideals.

On February 14-19, 2007, Greenberg Quinlan Rosner Research's "DemocracyCorps" unit conducted a survey of 1,014 likely voters, entitled "Getting The Public To Listen."

Select findings:

29% believe that government does more to help people get ahead in life ---
but 57% believe that government makes it harder for people to get ahead in life.

34% believe government mostly stimulates the economy and job growth ---
but 54% believe government mostly gets in the way of the economy and job growth.

48% believe America is most successful when our government helps create conditions so that many can prosper, not just a few ---
but 46% believe America is most successful when we have a limited government that keeps taxes low so that businesses and individuals can prosper.

And when asked if the federal government were to receive additional money...
13% said the believed it would be well spent ---
but 87% said they believed it would be wasted.

Gosh. What we seem to have here is either (a) a case of a Clinton ignoring the polls, or (b) a case in which a Clinton acknowledges the state of the polls, but is intent to change them, through the inestimable influence they have on the entire mainstream media and arts industry in America.

Personally, I doubt it's the former: the Clintons are congenitally attached to polling like Teddy Kennedy is attached to shamrock-adorned shotglasses.

So I guess we can all look forward to the Clintons and their enablers in the MSM, and Hollywood, and beyond trotting out a whole new slew of propaganda to bamboozle Americans, once again, into believing that which --- were it explained to them accurately --- they would reject as ridiculous.

Ayyyup. And that's the way it is.

Strong Minority Of U.S. Muslims Endorse Suicide Bombings Against Civilians

Under development at our secret laboratories for years, today JQWorld unveils a new feature for your benefit: The JQWorld "Translate-O-Matic," your FREE virtual translation machine, that deciphers the MSM's jihadist-appeasing/whitewashing spin, so that YOU can CLEARLY understand what's being said!!!

SEE UPDATES AT END: Other worthy bloggers analyze this story from similar angles --- and often in more depth than I have time for at the moment.

As if JQWorld hasn't documented quite enough instances of how the MSM will contort itself into poses that a circus performer would admire, in order to distort the reality of radical Islamism in America, along comes this jewel, concerning a new Pew poll of U.S. Muslims:

"Most U.S. Muslims Reject Suicide Bombings" (AP)

Well, that's a comforting thought! That is, until one delves just a bit deeper into the actual numbers. Keep in mind that there are an estimated 2.35 million Muslims living in the U.S.

"13% believe that suicide bombings against civilians... to defend Islam... are justified, at least sometimes."

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: 305,000 U.S. Muslims believe that suicide bombings against civilians are justified.

"That sentiment is strongest among those younger than 30," of whom 26% believe that suicide bombings against civilians are justified, at least rarely.

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: OK, well, let's assume that half the U.S. Muslim population (1.175 million) is under 30. That means that 305,500 believes this.

"Only 5 percent of U.S. Muslims expressed favorable views of the terrorist group al-Qaida."

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: 117,500 U.S. Muslims admire al Qaida.

"Six in 10 said they are concerned about a rise in Islamic extremism in the U.S."

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: 40% of U.S. Muslims (940,000) are not concerned about a rise in Islamic extremism in the U.S.

"One third of U.S. Muslims believe it was wrong for the U.S. to invade Afghanistan (after the 9/11 attacks)."

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: 775,000 (33% of) U.S. Muslims believe it was wrong of the U.S. to give Afghanistan an ultimatum after 9/11: "Hand over al Qaida, or face the wrath of the American military," and then to attack when Afghanistan refused to do so.

Specifically in regards to the number of U.S. Muslims who endorse suicide bombings against civilians.

"It is a hair-raising number," said Radwan Masmoudi, president of the Washington-based Center for the Study of Islam and Democracy, which promotes the compatibility of Islam with democracy.

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: Amen. And if you have a strong enough stomach, you might take a jog over to the following JQWorld thread, to see how British Muslims react to similar questions, and more probing ones --- as a preview of what is coming to America:

News From Londonistan: A New Correlation of Names and Polls

But if you'd like to return to a comfort zone, consider this timeless, equivocating reaction from one of America's biggest concentrations of Islamists (as opposed to Muslims) in the aforementioned AP story:

"We have crazies just like other faiths have them," said Eide Alawan, who directs interfaith outreach at the Islamic Center of America in Dearborn, Mich., one of the nation's largest mosques. He said killing innocent people contradicts Islam.

JQWorld Translate-O-Matic: According to the Islamists in Dearborn(istan) and elsewhere, there really are no innocent people in America or the U.K. or Australia, etc., first, because we are infidels; second, because we have had the audacity to respond to the war that jihadists have declared against us; and third, because we support Israel's right to self-defense.

Welcome to the wonderful world of Islamist word games, and the MSM that gravitates to it like a kitten to warm milk.

Now, if you're feeling like you have a really strong stomach... check this out:

Radical Muslim Paramilitary Compounds Flourishing Across The United States

And it's a wonder why the six New Jersey jihadists thought they would really be able to get away with their planned assault on Ft. Dix, being that the MSM is so preoccupied with Paris Hilton's prospective cell-mate, Britney Spears's inability to remain clothed in public, the Donald-Rosie spat, and the 2008 presidential money derby to expose the real numbers, and the real threat facing America from radical Islamism.

And I'm sure that the MSM's and the American educational system's lulling of our citizens and kids into unawareness of what is really going on re jihad around the world and right here on U.S. soil, has absolutely nothing to do with their enabing of a leftist ambulance-chasing demagogue like John Edwards to proclaim that there is no "global war on terror," to deny that jihadists have declared war on us, and to dismiss such statements as "bumper sticker slogans," here.

No, according to the rabid leftists and Dhimmicrats who keep sending me hate emails, I'm just a racist, Islamophobic, brainwashed, rightwing, warmongering, paranoid BushBot.

Coming from them, I take such accusations as a badge of honor, and an indication that I'm right on target. So, thanks for the encouragement, you seething leftist jihad-appeasing loonbatted nutjobs. And as soon as my schedule lightens up a bit, I'll redouble my efforts.

Have a nice day.

Other bloggers examine and demolish the MSM's dhimmitude in covering this story

Get a cup of coffee (or bourbon, if you're an infidel) and set a spell... this is all really interesting stuff.

LittleGreenFootballs commentary and links: Here, here, here, here.

In another blockbuster analysis, Little Green Footballs reveals the hysterical bias of a (supposedly unbiased) Newsweek columnist in her attempt to spin the findings of the Pew survey as (of course) Islamophobia. LGF: "According to Ms Ali, we should all focus on the good news, and forget about the disturbingly large percentage of US Muslims who admit they think it might be OK to blow themselves up to kill infidels."

On the bright side, I'm sure that the American MSM is going to announce a collective "mea culpa," and start to cover this incredible story in a responsible, reality-based, America-loving fashion, any time now...

... any time now...

... any time now...

... any time now...

Have a nice day.

LGF has the video here.

It's worth asking: Given that the Muslim (Islamist) perpetrators recorded farewell videos prior to their suicide mission, and they were caught on video as they entered the train stations and buses, and the M.O. of the attacks was a carbon copy of other jihadist strikes in Madrid, etc., how long will it be before the American versions of the radical imams that preach this kind of denial, spur American Muslims to deny that Islamists were behind the 9/11 attacks?
(Whoops, the rabid American left is already wwaaaaaayyyyyyy ahead of them on this one)

Tic-tock, America.

Especially to those peaceful American Muslims who claim to be horrified that such lies and suicide attacks could be committed in the name of their religion, yet who remain silent in the face of outrages such as this.

Tic-tock, indeed.

The ever-astute AmericanThinker demolishes CAIR's latest attempt to equivocate and spin the Pew study's findings; don't count on this to ever be discussed in the MSM

Countdown To The Leftists' Next Round Of Israel-Bashing

Pavlov trained his dogs to salivate when they heard a bell, indicating they were about to eat --- whether he intended to feed them or not.

The rabid leftists' Pavlovian cue to begin their hysterical, propaganda-riddled, vicious verbal attacks against Israel is whenever it decides to finally fight back against the constant acts of murder and attempted murder that are perpetrated against its civilians and soldiers by militant Islamists. Extra leftist insanity and Israel/Jew-hatred is stoked when Israel actually announces its intentions and its principles and objectives in clear, unambiguous language (unlike Olmert-Speak, which he apparently learned from The Democratic Institute for Linguistic Obfuscation and Doublespeak; see here and here).

Today, Israel's top military officer announced that Israel is going to "make Hamas pay" for its murder and attempted murder, primarily through precision retaliatory attacks. Unlike militant Islamists in Hamas, Hezbollah, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, al Quada and others, Israel uses almost superhuman effort to kill only those who have murdered or attempted to murder Israelis, with minimal or no civilian "collateral damage." On the contrary, militant Islamists revel in targeting civilians with suicide bombings, and whenever possible, up-close-and-personal, knife-in-the-chest attacks, or the ultimate: public beheadings.

As I have observed here on JQWorld for almost a year now, leftist loonbat nutjobs --- from the blogosphere to the hallowed halls of academia to the boardrooms of the MSM networks --- have demonstrated an unerring ability to fail/refuse to distinguish between the murderer and the murdered, the criminal and the victim, the terrorist and the the terrorized. And with Pavlovian predictability, they will march in militant lock-step to blame and condemn Israel (and other victims, like America), while pooh-poohing, excusing, equivocating for and in many cases, actually justifying Islamist butchery.

So, it is with(out) great fanfare that I hereby announce...

The JonQuixoteWorld Countdown To The Leftists' Next Round Of Israel Bashing

As an exciting project has prevented me from even observing the (non-JQWorld) blogosphere for a few weeks now, and I'll be busy on it for the next week, I encourage JQWorld fans to email me links to threads in the leftooned blogosphere that represent what I and you know is coming from them. (Extra credit goes to those who cull the comments and submit only the most vicious and representative of what JQWorld has documented for the last 10 months!)

Even as an atheist, on a day like this, and knowing what's coming for Israel, I feel quite compelled to say:

God bless Israel.

God damn the Islamist butchers who are creating this mess, and those who enable, support and justify them.

God bless America, and our soldiers.

Have a nice day.

Leftist Racism - In South Carolina Schools, And The MSM? Yes.

I came across an article today, The Black And White Of "Ho" Culture, by Kathleen Parker, that should shock every rational American.

What Parker describes is so wrong on so many levels, it's hard to know where to begin.

Let's start here: Racism is defined as applying a separate, demeaning and destructive set of standards to all members of a particular race in a culture, based only on their race. Slavery was one of the outgrowths of racism, but it certainly wasn't the only one. For thousands of years, slavery has occurred in all parts of the world, and still is, in Africa and throughout sections of the Middle East. Racism is still alive in nations throughout the world.

America led the way in legally ending the abhorrent practice of slavery, which it inherited from the "old world."

This article, however, and those rare other ones like it, indicate one thing with crystal-clarity: that racism is still alive and well in America --- but not in the place we've been indoctrinated to believe it exists: it now exists firmly, squarely and almost inextricably in the heart of the American left.

The article describes how at a public (taxpayer-funded) middle school in Charleston, S.C., black students routinely and repeatedly use racial epithets and acts of violence against against white teachers that are so vicious, they make the entire Don Imus brouhaha look like a Sunday school picnic. One teacher, Elizabeth Kandrac, finally stood up for herself. From the article:

Let's be clear: What these children called this teacher is beyond reprehensible and could be only be construed as hostile and threatening. Here's a sample: white b----, white m----- f-----, white c---, white a------, white ho.

Other white teachers and students corroborated Kandrac's account, including a male war veteran who testified he would rather return to Vietnam than to Brentwood.

And what was the reaction of the school's administration --- which, like almost every other public school system in America, is obviously dominated by leftists --- when the teacher filed a lawsuit and EEOC action?

Kandrac's attorney, Larry Kobrovsky, argued that the repeated use of "white" made these slurs racists in nature. But school officials insisted that because black students were equally abusive to other blacks, the language wasn't inherently racist...

(D)efense attorney Alice Paylor told jurors that the kids heard this same language at home and there was "no magic pill" to make them behave.

Of course! Let's just excuse the little miscreants, and claim it's just "part of their culture" --- and if that weren't insane enough, let's claim that the teacher is just a golddigger! Excerpt:

But a white Kandrac -- who faced a daily barrage of insults, who had books and desks thrown at her and her bicycle tires punctured -- was treated like an incompetent wimp. She was just a lousy teacher out for money, the defense attorney said.

(Yes, I too can hear the echoes of that classic James Carville line, "You drag a hundred-dollar bill through a trailer park and you never know what you're gonna get," in reference to Paula Jones, and the other DNC-labeled "trailer trash" women who accused Bill Clinton of having sexually molested, harassed, raped or attempted to rape them. Oh, those tolerant, peaceful, understanding, women's-rights-defending leftists...)

In one sense, Parker nails it:

Here's what we know without question: If majority white students had used similar language toward black students and teachers, the case would have been plastered on the front page of The New York Times until heads rolled.

A black Kandrac would have a million-dollar book deal, a movie contract and hundreds of interviews to juggle. Her oppressors and those who passively facilitated her abuse would have been pilloried by the media -- their faces all over the evening news -- while the reverends Al and Jesse organized protests.

But in another, she drops the ball:

Though Kandrac lost her job, the real losers are the children deprived of an education by the actions of a tyrannical few. And the worst racists are those teachers and administrators who denied these empowered brats the expectation of civilized behavior.

May the rest of America now be emboldened to act decisively in the interest of students who want to learn.

Amidst a valid point, Parker caters to pure leftist-statist appeasement drivel. Does Parker really believe that anyone with more than one functioning brain cell (this excludes you, HuffPost nutjobs) seriously thinks that this situation is limited only to a school in South Carolina?

This is but one facet of the abdication of responsibility that public (taxpayer-funded) schools from coast to coast have been allowed to get away with, as every major study of core curriculum proficiency has demonstrated in recent years. And such a situation as this, and that which is described above, could only occur in one type of environment: one that is forcibly constructed and maintained via government monopoly, under force of law.

Can any child can learn --- or any teacher teach --- in an environment in which children are forced to attend that particular school, and which taxpayers are forced to support, no matter how dismal the results --- and where teachers, administrators and slick trial laweyers are empowering this very type of racism?

Does any clear-thinking person
(sorry, DailyKos lunatics) think that students such as those desribed above actually want to learn? And more, does any rational person (sorry, CounterPunch, TruthOut and Wonkette trolls)
actually think that such a travesty could occur --- or be tolerated --- in a private school, where every parent has to write a check out to pay for his/her child's tuition?

In a private school, these students would be kicked out --- immediately --- and the ones who committed acts of violence against school personnel or other students would immediately be turned over to law enforcement for criminal prosecution, as they should be.

How do I know this? Would you willingly cut a check to, and send your child to a school like this, day after day, where incidents like those described (and acknowledged) in this lawsuit occur on a routine basis? Would you willingly pay to send your child to a school that cannot demonstrate its ability to teach even the basics of reading, writing, math, history, economics, geography, science, etc.? And even if you didn't have children, as just a taxpayer, would you advocate legally forcing parents in your neighborhood to do so --- because you, or the legislators you support, could muster 50.001% of a "vote"?

This case, therefore, while demonstrating state-sponsored, state-defended, and state-enforced racism, is but one aspect of how government education has subverted our entire culture. But this case has an added dimension: The poor and minority students who so desperately need a quality basic education to break out of poverty are being deprived of it, via state mandate, and at taxpayer expense, precisely because they are forced to attend whichever government-run school they're ordered to, under penalty of law. (To my leftist critics: These poor parents can just send their kids to private schools, and pay for it, you say? Really? Have you talked to any poor parents recently? Ever proposed to them that they should pay twice for their child's education --- once, for the school they don't want them to attend, via tax dollars extracted from them --- and again, for private school tuition? Yeah, I didn't think so.)

The only solution (in the near-term*)
is school choice and vouchers, which enable parents to send their children to any school that they feel will provide them with best educational opportunity.

But of course, every teacher's union, leftist advocacy group and Democratic legislator fights choice and vouchers tooth and nail, to protect the government's legally-enforced monopoly on "public education," using (as always) an unconscionable mix of race-based demagoguery and statist-socialist propaganda. The mere suggestion of recognizing the natural right of parents in a free society to not be forced to send their child to any particular school, to remove their children from failing schools, and put them into a school that actually performs, is to the teacher's unions and their supporters what kryptonite is to Superman.

(*The solution in the long-term is total educational freedom, in which all transactions are voluntary, and no citizen is legally forced to pay for the education of anyone else. In such a society, education would be valued even more, because there would be no more mysterious "public dollars" being spent or fought over to pay for it. Just as in every other economic transaction, from purchasing consumer electronics to dog-training services to autos, every last dollar would be contributed or paid to schools voluntarily, with the requisite demand for promised performance --- or the institution would be forced by the market to go out of business, as it should.)

Will we see anything about this case in the mainstream media, on all the evening newscasts and talk-show gabfests, least of all as a huge justification of the need for school choice?

Of course not.

According to the (leftist-dominated) MSM, (leftist-dominated) public school teachers and administrators "mean well," and are only doing what they do "for the children." With the exception of Parker's courageous article, this outrage will be buried --- period. Even if, as any thinking person
(sorry, this excludes you, DemocratUnderground nutjobs) knows, and as Parker so ably pointed out, were the situation reversed, the leftist race-hustlers and (supposed) do-gooders who pose as "journalists" would have satellite-TV trucks out front of this school, for weeks at a time, for as long as they could possibly milk this "race" story.

And if this all isn't enough to shock you, here are three more things to consider:

These racist middle-school barbarians will be able to vote in six years or less (the vast majority of whom who will have obtained not even the most rudimentary grasp of history, current affairs, or the basic skills to learn about them, thanks to schools such as the one described above)

The public school teachers, administrators and lawyers who perpetrate this racist nonsense and who defended the school's (in)actions already do vote, and more --- via their unions and lobbying, they constitute the largest single source of campaign finance and lobbying dollars for to the Democratic Party

This isn't the only recent "inconvenient" (horrifying) race-based incident that the leftist-racist MSM refuses to cover. Don't follow
this link if you've just eaten, or are about to eat --- trust me on this one.

Have a nice day.

The NY Times: Militant Islamism's Bee-Yotch

As has been demonstrated numerous times here at JQWorld (here, here, elsewhere) and on other blogs, militant Islamists – like those who were planning to assault Ft. Dix to “kill as many American soldiers as possible” – enjoy the benefit of a resource that helps to keep the American people blissfully unaware of the specific indications that jihad is coming to our streets: our own mainstream media.

Examples abound: On this morning's network TV news shows, the "Ft. Dix Six" barely made mention --- and when they did, it was far into the broadcast, and they were referred to (as on NBC's Today Show) as "six New Jersey men charged with..."

Nothing about the fact that they are Muslims, or that they justified their actions because of their sworn allegiance to Allah, to Osama bin Laden, and to violent jihad. See an insightful analysis of this colossal omission by Andrew McCarthey of the Foundation for the Defense of Democracies,

Nothing about the fact that there have been numerous other instances of militant Islamists having been busted across the United States for attempting to purchase military-grade weaponry (assault weapons, grenade launchers, explosives, etc.) to commit jihad on our streets (
here, here, here, here, here; more coming).

And nothing about the fact that three of the six were in the United States illegally, and were apparently operating a business and living quite openly --- and largely (driving Escalades, BMWs, etc.) --- even though they are illegals (as documented, in part,

The MSM has now all but blacked out this entire "Ft. Dix Six" episode from even a fraction of the coverage that they are giving to the pure fluff (Paris Hilton, American Idol, presidential money derby, celebrity gossip, etc.). And I'm certainly not the only one who notes the sudden subversion of this story --- and the Islamist component of it --- from our headlines, merely hours after CAIR, the Hamas-spawned Islamist terror-front group and -apologist (
here, here, here, here), issued a press release warning the MSM to "not link this case with Islam" (despite what these jihadists themselves said about their divine justifications).

There is no more timely or representative example of how our MSM has been cowed into submission (dhimmitude) than today’s New York Times.

The NY Times is supposedly America's "newspaper of record," which contains "All The News That's Fit To Print." Well, let's see what the NY Times decided was "fit to print" today. Cick on the above image: Do you see anything about the "Ft. Dix Six?" Nope.

Seems the following stories were deemed by the editors of the NY Times as being far more important --- and worthy of front-page coverage --- than the New Jersey jihadists (how I'll refer to them from hereon out), and the implications for our domestic security:

Pressed by Police, Even Innocent Confess in Japan

Highway Debris, Long an Eyesore, Grows as Hazard

Well those stories are certainly much more important than any planned assault on a U.S. military installation. One that happens to be located on U.S. soil.

Turn to page A2. Anything on the New Jersey jihadists, or related discoveries in recent months and years? Nope.

Page A3? Nope, sorry. Instead, the page is dominated by this: Blair Choreographs End to a Stewardship Dogged by Iraq

Page A4? Nope. Instead, this cheerleading piece for Venezuela's socialist tyrant, Hugo Chavez, and loving approval of his latest crackdown on freedom and free enterprise: Vendors’ Removal Brings a Venezuelan Gem Back to Life

Pages A5-A14? Nope.

Page A15? Sorry. Instead, we're treated to an
analysis of the Dallas, TX mayoral race, and a story of (yet another) Chicago Democrat who's been indicted for corruption.

Page A16? Nope. Instead we're treated to stories about
Purdue University investigating a professor for fraud, and the Treasury Dept's investigation of Michael Moore for his trip to Cuba. Both stories are clearly vital for Americans to understand the threats to their security, and their culture.

Page A17? Sorry. Instead we're treated to the story of why
the Dairy Council is ending one of its ad campaigns.

Page A18? Nope.

Page A19? Ditto.

Page A20? Well, we're getting closer, geographically at least; the page is dominated by
a loving portrait of N.J. Governor Jon Corzine (D) and his recovery from his recent auto accident. Oh, and Brooklyn's consideration of offering property next to a jail to developers to build... apartments.

Page A21? Hm, what's this? Well, there it is, right below "Latin Food At Yankee Stadium. Now, How About That?"... we FINALLY come to an article entitled:

Relatives Noticed Changes in Accused Plotters

After all that page-turning suspense, let's take a look at how the story was played. "Plotters" --- does that mean they were "plotting" to steal subway tokens? To engage in an ID-theft ring? To bring down Western civilization? No answer.

Anyway, here are some excerpts from the article underneath this non-descript, non-offensive headine:

Ramiz Duka said his three cousins started to change two to three years ago. Three young men who had grown up with more American friends than fellow ethnic Albanian immigrants began to lecture other Muslims about religion.

“They were praying different, they were talking different, they were telling people what to believe,” Mr. Duka recalled of Eljvir, Shain and Dritan Duka, three of the six men charged in southern New Jersey this week with plotting to attack the Fort Dix military reservation. “They thought they only knew the right way.”

Ramiz Duka, a Philadelphia area general contractor whose father is the brother of the suspects’ father, Ferik, said relations grew so strained a year ago that he declined an invitation to attend a family wedding. The playing of music — a centuries-old tradition at Albanian weddings — had been banned.

“What was inflicted on their brain, from who, I don’t know,” the cousin said in an interview on Thursday. “It’s not our faith. It’s not our religion. It’s not our people.”

“Who they met here, I don’t know,” Mr. Duka said. “They started growing beards. They were trying to disassociate from us, from my family.”

Agron Abdullahu’s family said he was not radicalized. Since arriving in the country eight years ago, he worked at a ShopRite supermarket in Williamstown, N.J.

“He works 10 hours a day,” said his cousin Arsim. “He would come home and work on his car at night. When he has time to do all these things?”

Wow. Well. That certainly helps to answer all of our questions. These were six ordinary young men, living large in America, half illegally (though not mentioned in the article), and got a bit energetic about their belief in Islam.

Summary: "Nothing to see here, people, just move along..."

Well, at least I can give the NY Times credit for one thing: Unlike many in the MSM, they actually used the word "Muslim" right there in the second sentence. But they never used it again in the rest of this 900 word article. Nothing. No al Quada, no bin Laden, no reference to the widening preparations for jihad in America (Feeling brave? Read this). Nothing.

Just obfuscations, denials, and evasions... exactly what CAIR ordered, and received from their lapdogs in the MSM, and the NY Times in particular. OOPS! Except for that one reference to "Muslims."

But hey, that's just a simple cut-and-remove from the online version. And then, finally, the NY Times will have completely dhimmified itself so as not to alienate those wonderful jihad-enabling and -justifyng "civil rights advocates" over at CAIR.

"All The News That's Fit To Print," indeed.

Have a nice day.

LGF has all the details here.

Question: Is the NYTimes on the payroll of militant Islamists --- or are they just offering in-kind contributions, in the form of obfuscating and downplaying stories that should (in a non-bizarro universe) merit front-page, top-of-the-fold attention? Hm.

What a different world we would be living in if papers like the NY Times would devote half the attention that they focus on celebrity culture and clashes, to stories that actually matter.

Have a nice day.

Update On Michigan Jihadists With 1,000 Untraceable Cell Phones

Well, well, well.

Back on August 12, 2006, JQWorld featured a story:
MSM: WHAT 3 Muslim Men With 1,000 Untraceable Cell Phones In The USA? The MSM briefly addressed --- then hurriedly removed --- this story, which came right on the heels of the foiled Islamist plot to bomb 10 U.S.-bound airliners over the Atlantic. There were so many more interesting stories to cover at the time... John Mark Karr, American Idol, etc...

Well now, along comes an interesting twist in this story: Turns out that untraceable cell phones purchased in America --- just like those 1,000 phones that the Michigan police found in the possession of "three Middle Eastern" men --- are being used to murder U.S. soldiers.

this story at the Northeast Intelligence Network. Excerpt:

Those on the side of the purchasers have consistently asserted that such purchases are made for entrepreneurial reasons – the phones are purchased in bulk and sold at a higher markup elsewhere.

The purchasers have been described by their families as "good boys" with no connections to terrorism and no malevolent intent, a template ripped from the pages of certain Islamic civil rights organizations to portray these young men as victims of a system too quick to profile. The Northeast Intelligence Network has consistently maintained that the cell phones are being used for terrorist purposes, although this possibility has been consistently downplayed by federal authorities and the media.

On Wednesday, however, authorities in Muleshoe, Texas questioned a man who confessed to buying sixty disposable cell phones in a variety of Muleshoe stores.

According to local news reports, he admitted that the phones would eventually be used as bomb detonators in Iraq – bombs that will undoubtedly claim the lives of our young men and women fighting in the dusty battlefields against Islamic terrorism – bombs built with components of cell phones purchased in the U.S.

According to this local news report, the man has since been released, and no charges were filed.

And check out the extensive list of links that supplement this article, at the bottom of the page.

Where is this story in the MSM? Is this revelation not more important than Paris Hilton's appeals for clemency, of the money-race for the 2008 presidential derby, of the latest diet fad, and celebrity gossip? Apparently not.

Have a nice day.

"Leftist Gaza Protest Guide" - Bullseye!!!

Wow. Mere days after I posted my latest expose' on the leftist-Islamist convergence, here, YNet editorial writer Uri Orbach demonstrates that he sure does "get it."

Excerpt from his

"Leftist Protest Guide:"

This is how you fight the occupation: Bring five leftists along, give a camcorder to each one, and travel to the Territories. The nearest checkpoint is your playground. As you approach the checkpoint, attempt to express protest by moving roadblock rocks, swear at the soldiers, and do everything, and I mean everything, to piss them off.

Leftist, remember this: The soldiers are fatigued and worn out, and if you aim your swear words well, there is a good chance the reserve soldier at the roadblock will become upset. If you see some Palestinians on the other side, it's a good idea to start hurling stones.

However, all this should be done with extreme caution: Make sure not to film the stone-throwing by mistake. The photographers must focus on the reservists' reactions in order to convey an accurate picture of the incident.

Annoy them, bother them, swear at them, and yell out "occupation!" and "Aren't you ashamed of yourselves?" Block the road and climb the fence. Film the soldiers' reaction. The world loves to see violent Israeli soldiers. Should one of the reservists lose it a bit and hit you, you must immediately lie down on the ground (pay attention to the camcorder aimed at you) and start sobbing.

Read the rest here.

Wow. And I expect the MSM to ponder this reality, and how this kind of proven propaganda (more here) shapes public perceptions, any minute now...

... any minute now...

... any minute now...

Have a nice day.

From Little Green Footballs... ya just can't make this stuff up. And it's a wonder why so many throughout the world are so sympathetic to those poor, poor Palestinians... for whom fomenting hatred, violence and murder are just part of their daily ritual --- but so long as leftist photographers and photo-editors will cover for them, why stop?

See it all here. Click on the picture of the "baby-jihadi" and watch the al-Reuters photo-show unfold.

The (Literal) "Daily Call For Surrender"

Back on December 2, 2006, JQWorld noted
here how a few days earlier, Loonbat Brig. General Michael Moore threatened to declare holy war on the newly-elected DNC majority in Congress if it didn't force America to surrender to jihadists in Iraq, by bringing the troops home... "now... Not six months from now. NOW."

Well, it's been more than five months since Gen. Moore's threat was issued. Where are we?

  • The Democratic leadership launched what it knew would be a failed bid to deputize 535 members of Congress to dictate to our (actual) military commanders how to fight this war, and when to surrender, by cutting off their funding
  • General David Petraeus was confirmed by a unanimous vote in the Senate (yes, that includes Democrats) to be the new top commander in Iraq, so that he can launch a new strategy for victory, including a "surge" to assault the jihadists and insurgents who are killing our troops
  • 35,000 more soldiers will be headed to Iraq in the fall
  • Self-appointed alternative President and Secretary of State Nancy Pelosi has been (a) conducting unconstitutional foreign policy with jihad-enabler Syrian president Basher Assad, and (b) acting in exactly the jihad-appeasing, politically-(in)correct way that clear-thinking people knew she would, if she ever ascended to leadership (here)

So, what is the latest development?

Well, as creative and politically astute as I like to think I am, even I couldn't dream up as loonbatted a story as this:

Antiwar Groups Use New Clout to Influence Democrats on Iraq
New York Times, May 6, 2007

As you read this story, keep in mind that one of the groups, MoveOn.org, claims that it has "bought, paid for and now owns" the DNC (so much for the leftists' whining about politicians or political parties being subservient to any money-laden masters). Excerpt:

Every morning, representatives from a cluster of antiwar groups gather for a conference call with Democratic leadership staff members in the House and the Senate.

Shortly after, in a cramped meeting room here, they convene for a call with organizers across the country. They hash out plans for rallies. They sketch out talking points for “rapid response” news conferences. They discuss polls they have conducted in several dozen crucial Congressional districts and states across the country.

Over the last four months, the Iraq deliberations in Congress have lurched from a purely symbolic resolution rebuking the president’s strategy to timetables for the withdrawal of American troops.

Behind the scenes,
an elaborate political operation, organized by a coalition of antiwar groups and fine-tuned to wrestle members of Congress into place one by one, has helped nudge the debate forward.

Wow. I'm no lawyer, but I am curious: Where do campaign-finance and lobbying laws come into play here? I mean, how many Congressional leadership bodies in the past have been on such a short leash from their campaign and lobbying masters that they are forced to have a daily conference call with them?

And can you imagine what would happen if it were disclosed that the Bush administration, or the Republican leadership in Congress was having a daily conference call to discuss strategy, talking points, polls, rallies, etc., with its supporters? Especially if national security, foreign policy and soldiers-in-battle were the subject of discussion?

Well, that's about the only thing I could conceive of that would compel the left-dominated MSM to knock Paris Hilton, American Idol, the 2008 presidential money derby coverage and the rest of the fluff off the headlines, in order to provide 24/7, wall-to-wall coverage of these "secret, illegitimate" lobbying meetings.

Yes, in this case, the New York Times did cover the story.

But it was presented as more of a blotter-page update as to the fact that the loonbatted leftist anti-war groups are not giving up --- not as it should have been: about how Congressional representatives from districts and states throughout America have collectively bowed down and are now taking their marching orders from an unelected, unaccountable shadow force that claims it has "bought and paid for and owns" the party, en masse.

Something to think about.

Have a nice day.

Kudos To The Washington Post

Fans of JQWorld know that I am pretty tough on the MSM, including the Washington Post, for the way in which they have covered (or not covered) stories of demonstrably vital importance, and particularly, issues related to Islamism, and the war that militant Islamists have declared on us (and especially its domestic manifestations). An example of a previous instance in which I took the Washington Post to task for its coverage of a vital issue is located here.

But today, I was very pleasantly surprised by a story that was right there on the front page of the Washington Post:

For Some Muslim Wives, Abuse Knows No Borders; Traditional Pressures Can Persist in U.S.
Pamela Constable, Washington Post Staff Writer

The article tells the story of several Muslim women here in America who have suffered both intimidation from their families and culture, and brutal beatings at the hands of their husbands, not as some abnormality, but as a significant outgrowth of Islamist indoctrination in their home nations, which has metastasized into America. Excerpt:

"My husband beat. He show knife. I am scared for him, for all family," said Shamim, 21, the Pakistani bride, who was rescued by police. She is being sheltered and tutored in English at a private home. "They say no money, no call mother at home. I cook for all, I not eat. I not know 911 what is. I think I go crazy."

Shireen, the woman in Maryland, speaks with articulate chagrin about how the crushing weight of social expectation kept her in a relationship that soon turned violent. Both women's last names are being withheld at their request.

"I was perfectly happy living alone, but the family kept pushing me to marry. I wanted to show them I was a good Muslim girl," said Shireen, now 37 and divorced. When her husband became abusive, she said, relatives told her to be a better wife. When she took him to court, she said, "everyone abandoned me. I was the one who had done something wrong."

Domestic abuse is hardly unique to Muslim immigrant communities; it is a sad fact of life in families of all backgrounds and origins. Yet, according to social workers, Islamic clerics and women's advocates, women from Muslim-majority cultures face extra pressure to submit to violent husbands and intense social ostracism if they muster the courage to file charges or flee...

In the case of Shamim, it took a series of contacts with sympathetic relatives and women's rights activists for her to summon the nerve to call 911. When she finally did, the police came in a patrol car, helped her pack while her husband and in-laws watched in astonishment, and escorted her to a friend's home.

"Now I am freedom," Shamim said, grinning broadly as she took a tea break recently from her English studies. "I stay America. Not go home. In home, everyone blame woman, it is my culture. Everyone blame me."

Read it all, here. And maybe even send a supportive email to the writer, and to the Post.

Fairness means being critical (brutally, when necessary), but also giving credit where it is richly due.

Today, the Washington Post and Ms. Constable get a big tip-of-the-hat from JQWorld, for showing the courage that is necessary to bring these issues to light, right there on page 1 of one of America's most important and influential newspapers.

And while not trying to sound cynical, here's also hoping that the Washington Post will stand its ground when the inevitable attacks from CAIR, MPAC and certain leftist advocacy groups are directed at it (as they most surely will), for its "insensitivity," "bias," and possibly even "racism."

These false charges are the currency that Islamists have been taught to use to cow truth-tellers and critics of radical Islamism into submission. And judging from their long, substantive string of recent successes (here, here), there's good reason for them to believe that they may be successful with the Washington Post, too.

Don't back down, Washington Post. We need more of the reporting that you provided today --- not less.

The American Left: All Hate, All Jihad-Appeasement, All The Time

-- HuffPost creates a misleading headline to incite leftist hatred (again!), then attempts to backtrack and manipulate reality (again!)

-- Mother Sheehan: Iraqi murderers are like America's Founders; MSM: "Yawn"

-- Leftists' hate and jihad-appeasement erupts again on HuffPost thread describing jihadists' planned attack on Ft. Dix; HuffPost diminishes, then removes thread

There’s an old joke that goes around here at JQWorld: If you encounter a rabid American leftist, and ask them, “What do you hate?,” the inevitable response is “WHADDAYA GOT??? GRRRRR!!!!”

Well even that doesn’t quite go far enough.

Because when it comes to issues involving unspeakable jihadist barbarism, or anyone speaking ill of America, the rabid domestic leftists are the first to jump on board and justify, equivocate for, or attempt to defend the indefensible.

As has been documented at JQWorld innumerable times, with facts and sources, the seething American leftists
(most notably, those who frequent the Huffington Post) will be the first to jump on board with such jewels as, “It’s all Bush’s fault!!!” or “It’s those damned Israelis/Jews!!!” or that timeless classic, “They (the butchering jihadists) are only defending themselves against imperialist American/Western aggression/expansionism!!!”

And for one to point out that this is the exact excuse that the jihadists themselves use is to ask to be flamed
(thats "flamed" in Internet parlance, meaning to get hate/threats --- not "flamed" in JamesR parlance; sorry, an inside joke!).

This seething, rabid hatred and jihadist justification/appeasement was on full display once again today, in regards to the following HuffPost thread, entitled:

"Iranian Foreign Minister Walks Out On Dinner With Rice"

The actual article that this headline refers to, entitled “Rice, Iranian Have Little Contact,” is located here. (Note: This WAS the actual headline, before HuffPost admins started playing around with it more, relabeling it "Suspicions Remain After Conference"; see "Updates," at bottom of this JQWorld thread):

Nice manipulation of titling, eh? (This is far from the first time they've done this... see here, here). Just the ticket to incite the lunacy of the “miniscule minority” of “clearly unhinged, fringe” commenters; for background on these terms, see here.
(Whoops, I forgot... check the top of the HuffPost thread... it doesn't "solicit" comments... I love that one!)

The article excerpt
("Quick Read") posted with the thread was:

Iran's foreign minister walked out of a dinner of diplomats where he was seated directly across from Secretary of State Condoleezza Rice, ostensibly because a female violinist entertaining the gathering was dressed too revealingly.

"I don't know which woman he was afraid of, the woman in the red dress or the secretary of state," State Department spokesman Sean McCormack said Friday, regarding the actions of Iran's Manouchehr Mottaki.

The Iranian Foreign Minister walked out of the dinner because a violinist was not dressed as modestly (veiled) as the repressive Iranian mullah-tocracy insists upon (an edict that it inflicts vicious punishments upon violators for ignoring)? Hm. But that wasn't the way the story was played on HuffPost. And it was right there in print, to verify --- the HuffPost editors didn't even try to hide it.

In a previous generation, creating misleading, inflammatory headlines like this, to stoke hatred and misperceptions, was called "yellow journalism." Yet look around HuffPost --- it has some of the biggest advertisers in America supporting it.

So, given all this, what do you imagine the supposedly "peaceful, tolerant, diversity-minded, understanding, inclusive, non-judgmental, justice-seeking" HuffPost leftists had to say about all this --- about the representative of Iran, the #1-ranked state sponsor of Islamist terror in the world, walking out on the U.S. Secretary of State --- especially knowing that HuffPost is one of the most widely-read leftist blogsites?

Read it for yourself:
(Thread link here; particularly hateful/loonbatted/Jew-hating/racist comments are highlighted in red; some comments are edited for brevity):

I can't say that I blame him. She'd spoil my appetite, as well
By: rand on May 04, 2007 at 09:17am

I would get up and walk away too if I had to stare at this gapped tooth mug over a dinner. As far as the state department spokesman talking shit about who is afraid about what he had better think about what it is he is saying before he says it. Just like when you are wlking down the street in a bad part of town you do not talk shit our own government should show some respect to others as a matter of fact I demand they respect others the comment was uncalled for and unprofessional
By: birdman on May 04, 2007 at 09:22am

Good for the Iranian Minister !!! I would walk out too if I had to look at Bush's..SWEETY..

(And we think we can really, honestly deal with these medieval people? Get real. By: ammobob on May 04, 2007 at 09:17am) Take a look at US foreign policy in the last 50 years and tell me with a straight face who is medieval. By the way, Iran isn't Iraq, Afghanistan, or Vietnam - she is much stronger than those lesser nations.
By: LittleGreenBaseBallz on May 04, 2007 at 09:27am

Can't blame the dude, really. Some sensitive people find it hard to keep food down because they can smell the blood coming off war criminals sitting right across from them. I mean, even seeing her on TV triggers my gag reflex, and I've sorta gotten used to her.He was probably afraid that if he stuck around, he would end up doing to Condi what Bush the Elder did to the Prime Minister of Japan. Excusing himself was definitely the better part of valor.
By: LittleBrother on May 04, 2007 at 09:29am

Who can blame him? Staring at that snake all through a meal would make any normal perosn want to hurl....Rice is just a bush ass-kissing enabler who's happy to be allowed onto the White House porch.republicans are the true enemies of a free America.
By: zerocoma on May 04, 2007 at 09:30am

This sneering, condescending, dismissive, insulting attitude toward other nations, other leaders, other cultures is the reason Bush & Co. and any neocon successors will never, ever restore diplomacy with other nations and the U.S. will never recover whatever respect and affection others had for us before 2000...
By: olivia on May 04, 2007 at 09:39am

Can you blame the man?
Condi smells. The Iranians are flexing their sinews a bit by miffing the Sleeza, and so openly. They are not waiting for Condi to act like the bitch she is... Condi is so discredited and hated by just about everyone. Basically, she's a joke in the international enclaves with no achievements to speak of.
By: LUNKHEAD on May 04, 2007 at 09:44am

Pelosi should've been sent.No one wants to deal with back-stabber, lying, mass murderer Bush or his concubine, Rice.
By: NotGuilty on May 04, 2007 at 09:46am

How interesting seating two killers directly across from each other at the dining table. Calling Miss Manners..................
By: VOTER on May 04, 2007 at 09:48am

I would not use Rice as Secretary of State. She's a most unimpressive female. She make me lose my lunch.
By: DefyAnt on May 04, 2007 at 10:02am

Is Rice a diplomat or not? She should have behaved like a representative of a strong nation and made the first move to speak to the Iranian diplomat. The Bush administration is rife with ineptitude.
By: mich929 on May 04, 2007 at 10:04am

Actually the Muslem foreign minister was doing pretty good condidering their religion dont let them talk to women, until Condi was served up a big plate of hog jowels, chittlins, and pork rinds...
By: CaptEdwardGraham on May 04, 2007 at 10:36am

If America attacks Iran, we will be summarily defeated. Iran IS 100X more powerful than Vietnam ever was; so what makes the neo cons think the war is winnable is beyond me.

By: PigLipstick on May 04, 2007 at 12:39pm

If she exhibited such a lack of diplomacy among American academics, why should this guy trust her for a meal? BTW, her classes at Stanford were well known for being disasters. She was known around the campus for being scatter-brained and disorganized... Even Larry Diamond whom she hired to do a job in Iraq has abandoned her. If a fellow Hoover type has abandoned her, why not Iran?
By: colonelahab on May 04, 2007 at 12:40pm

Rice was only there to downplay the BushCo policy of not talking to our enemies. The idiot Dumbya's comments about (...) Diplomacy is easy if you care to be respectful to your counterpart's sensitivities and even easier if you intend to insult them. The Bush administration acts childishly and obviously wants conflict, not dialogue. The Crusade for Muslim oil will continue if any nine out of the ten GOP candidates win or even if Hillary wins. Our next election will be about the people's struggle to be free of corporate domination of our government. VOTE!!
By: SPEAKINGTRUTH2POWER on May 04, 2007 at 01:08pm

More Fuck You diplomacy. Condescending, flip, dismissive, as if politeness is not a given and is some kind of high ground or gift. The Fuck You administration has run out of good will and forgiveness and will soon pay the price for their inexcusable attitude.
By: olivia on May 04, 2007 at 01:31pm

FUCK THE TROOPS. I hope Iran rains thousands of missiles on the Green Zone if the Americans and Zionists attack. The troops are Nazis - in a fews years time they will say they merely were following orders. That doesn't fly with me. Send ALL of them to Guantanamo.
By: LittleGreenBaseBallz on May 04, 2007 at 01:52pm

The neocons/zionists appear hell-bent on bombing Iran. But if they support Israel, why are they willing to sacrifice Israel? Anybody know the answer?

By: Tellintruth on May 04, 2007 at 09:39pm

War against Iran is only for two purposes: Zionist Religious Fanatacism and Israel. Every single architect of every single war in the Middle East was and is a Zionist, both evangelical and jew. Just a crazy set of coincidences.
By: Tellintruth on May 04, 2007 at 09:41pm

Zionism. Its a political movement based in religious fanatacism with hopes of creating the Apocolypse.
By: Tellintruth on May 04, 2007 at 09:53pm

It's time to bring Condi "Yellowcake" Rice to justice. She belongs behind bars, she should not be out destroying our credibility with other nations.
By: baghdadjoe on May 04, 2007 at 11:00pm

Behold, my fellow citizens: The "peaceful, tolerant, inclusive, diverse, non-racist, America-loving" left. (And to think, these people have the right to vote, and one of their major PACs, MoveOn.org now claims that it has "bought, paid for and owns" the DNC. Sleep tight, eh?)

Regarding the comments on this thread, though, I can almost hear the hysterical cries within the HuffPost administrative offices...

"We need to deploy the 'Miniscule Minority Defense Initiative'... (info here) HURRY!!! Before that jerk JonQ starts to expose what was really said on this thread... we need to surgically scrub those few 'unhinged, clearly fringe' comments that JonQ will cherry-pick to make his points... HURRY!!!"

Whoops, too late, folks... I already saved a copy of the entire thread to a PDF file, which I'd be happy to email to JQWorld fans so they can see exactly what was said, where, when, and by whom, the entire thread, in all its glory... just drop me an email!

Have a nice day.

Here we go again... although the artificialy inflammatorily, misleading title of the headline is now buried in a column of posts on the front page (see below, highlighted in red)...

... earlier, to click on that link brought up a story page labeled, "Rice, Iranian Have Little Contact." But NOW, clicking on this link brings up a story entitled... "Suspicions Remain After Iraq Conference." (screen shot below) Hm, where'd that come from? I thought the Iranian diplomat "walked out on Rice"!? How can the headline for a story change THREE TIMES in less than 12 HOURS!?!? (only in HuffPostVille...!)

Oh, well, at least I do have some form of proof as to what the original front-page headline used to lead to... which incited the loonbatted hate, rage, America-bashing lunacy that is so abundantly documented above... via a crop from the PDF I grabbed of the thread:

Sorry, HuffPost admins... nice try... but I still gotcha. :)

HAHAHAHHAA.... well, now the HuffPost admins have put the original title ("Iranian FM Walks Out...") back up on the comments page that the thread link leads to... Sorry, HuffPost admins, but you need to get up a lot earlier if you're gonna try to fool JonQ... ;)

After perusing the insane, hateful, America-bashing, jihad-appeasing comments from the seething American left that I've documented on this thread, I suppose it shouldn't come as too great a surprise to realize where at least some of their lunacy comes from. And in this case, it's pretty clear the loonbat certainly doesn't fall far from the tree of supposedly unquestioned valor and integrity and insight that was foisted upon us by the MSM in recent years, in the form of Mother Sheehan.

So I'll be waiting with baited breath for the MSM to take her to task for uttering such a profoundly ridiculous statement as this (h/t LGF, here):

"I answered the soldier and explained carefully to him the distinction between a “terrorist” and an occupied person in a sovereign country who is fighting for his/her freedom from an oppressive foreign country. I tried to get G.I Joe to recall his lessons about the American Revolution when our founding fathers and mothers did the same thing."

I will be waiting for Katie, or Brian, or Charles, or the New York Times, or... ANYONE in the MSM to document this little jewel from Mother Sheehan --- and if they are really feeling brave, to correlate this insanity to what is being "taught" (strike that --- propagated) to America's children re our Founders.

And speaking of the supposed similarities between jihadist butchers in Iraq and America's Founders... gee, I've read pretty extensively on both subjects, and I don't recall ever having read about our Founders committing acts like these (please, though, someone point it out if I missed it):

Iraqi Islamists install bombs in girls' school under construction

Iraqi Islamist suicide bomber targets, kills 8 schoolgirls and baby

Iraqi Islamist suicide bomber kills 35 civilians, wounds 80 at funeral

Iraqi Islamist suicide bomber detonates explosive vest inside civilian bus; 10 dead, 17 wounded

Iraqi Islamist suicide bomber targets civilian cafe': 26 dead, 22 injured

3 Iraqi Islamist suicide bombers target civilians: 27 dead, 59 injured

Iraqi Islamists kidnapping Christian Iraqis: Warn them to convert, pay hefty ransom, or be murdered

And unironically, the Iranian madmen share Mother Sheehan's appraisal, precisely:

Iran calls U.S. forces in Iraq "terrorists"

Yes, I'll be waiting for the American MSM to confront Mother Sheehan --- the supposedly unimpeachable mouthpiece of the rabid left --- with evidence of the insanity of her statements...

The first things I noticed about this thread, which HuffPost entitled Six Charged With Plot To Attack NJ Base To "Kill As Many Soldiers As Possible"
were the following:

(1) That the thread was 3rd from the top (beneath more anti-Bush propaganda)

(2) That the "Quick Read" feature didn't even mention that the attackers were militant Islamists (despite the fact that responsible news organizations were reporting this truth), or that three of the six suspects were illegal immigrants. Instead, HuffPost ran this excerpt only:

Six nationals of the former Yugoslavia were arrested on charges they plotted to attack the Fort Dix Army base and "kill as many soldiers as possible," federal authorities said Tuesday. The six were scheduled to appear in U.S. District Court in Camden later Tuesday to face charges of conspiracy to kill U.S. servicemen, said Michael Drewniak, a spokesman for the U.S. Attorney's Office in New Jersey.

(3) As the day (May 8) progressed, the story thread kept moving down in prominence on HuffPost, beneath all the hate-Bush propaganda, beneath the appeals for clemency for Paris Hilton, etc... as if this were just some obscure story (nevermind that the responsible news media were playing this as a lead all day)

As anticipated, the rabid leftists that use HuffPost as one of their main gathering spots on the Web unleashed a torrent of loonbattery that, at points, even surprised a veteran HuffBuster like me. But as vocal as I am, in this case, I decided to just lay low and not augment this post, so as not to trigger the HuffPost "Miniscule Minority Defense Initiative."

Well, as of about 11pm last night, HuffPost administrators removed the thread altogether, despite the fact that this story is dominating the (responsible) news media today.

Gee, I wonder why?

Did they really think no one would be watching --- and documenting? How said. I saved a PDF of the entire thread (available via
email request), so there's now no hope for the HuffPost to go back and surgically scrub the "offensive" comments, or manipulate the headlines.

Want a taste of what was said on this thread, by these "peace-seeking, tolerant, America-loving, diversity-minded, inclusive, understanding" patriots?

Sorry. This administration has conditioned me to deem this to be wholly manufactured bullshit.Next !!

Obviously, those who made these arrests are NOT Bushie-loyalists and will be asked to resign, shortly.
By: getoffmedz on May 08, 2007 at 09:18am

Non-Muslim terrorists? White? The Right Wing should never have allowed this news to get out...
SkepticHume on May 08, 2007 at 09:19am

This plot was uncovered only by the grace of God. I am sure there must be hundreds of terrorist in this Country waiting for a chance to harm the people and especially the military. George Bush is creating more hate in the World every day that he remains in office...
By: veleria29 on May 08, 2007 at 09:24am

Wait, soldiers are supposed to be killed in Iraq not the USA.
By: PissedoffVietVet on May 08, 2007 at 09:29am

They could be Orthodox Christians, for all we know now, you bigot.
By: DocSarvis on May 08, 2007 at 09:31am

Sounds like pure Bull$hit Pentagon propaganda to me. Why would any terriorist go to all the trouble to attack US troops at Fort Dix, New Jersey when they can kill all the US Troops they want in Iraq, today, even as we speak? Very, very suspicious.Sounds like a feeble attempt by the Bu$h administration to recreate the 911 hysteria all over again.(The six were arrested trying to buy automatic weapons in a sale set-up by law enforcement authorities, the official said.)...
By: CaptEdwardGraham on May 08, 2007 at 09:48am

Before the Bush Rump Suckers cry foul they had best get their facts in order? The ethnicity of the suspects have not been released and if NOT Muslim the Bush Rectum Trumpets will cease to blow.Count on it....
By: getoffmedz on May 08, 2007 at 09:58am

Six people were going to attack an Army base? Right, uh-huh. Seems odd that this "plot" is exposed a day after the announcement of Bush's lowest approval ratings per the Newsweek poll. Also, why didn't the arrest announcement come from Homeland Security instead of from U.S. Justice? Trying to take some heat from Gonzales the week he goes before the House of Representatives? How transparent this administration is getting. Of course, the MSM is falling all over it, with no one questioning it. Pathetic.
By: mich929 on May 08, 2007 at 09:59am

So Dubya and the Pentagon Penguins didnt keep them over there. We are fighting them HERE!!!!!!!!!!! Amazing! I wish this admin would stop peeing on me and telling me it's rain.
By: grumbles on May 08, 2007 at 10:07am

These guys aint to bright. The ideal way to kill a lot of US troops all at once is to drive a van loaded with explosives onto the base and blow it up near the mess hall at chowtime or the church on sunday.Using automatic weapons will get a few surprised soldiers, then the rest are gonna scatter in every direction of the compass, then the party will be over. Six radicals simply cant chase down dozens of US Troops, even unarmed ones.Isnt it strange that the US Attorneys office dont seem to know much about these guys but they are perfectly sure about their plans to "kill as many as possible"?This will scare the crap out of the Republiwackos and Reich Wing Christiwackos, but any thoughtful person will see through this as poorly thought out Pentagon Propaganda of the simplist sort.
By: CaptEdwardGraham on May 08, 2007 at 10:15am

Only Republicans can know this. It's in their super-tough terrorist fighting genes. You see if your a liberal you want terrorists to attack and kill Americans. How do I know this? Because you are against the invasion and occupation of entire countries in order to kill, kill, kill, every fucking muslim you can. Also you can rape a few too because after all their fellow muslim jihadists hate America so that gives us the right to kill:A) Their Granpas & GrammiesB) Their childrenc)their DogsD) any insects they may have traveling with them (Tip: use a flame thrower for this...it's cool)....
By: andyboy on May 08, 2007 at 10:19am

These guys are dumber than a mud fense. This kind of dumb can only come from Bu$h himself, not from Cheney.
By: CaptEdwardGraham on May 08, 2007 at 10:21am

When it's all over, you'll discover that it was some undercover government spy who cooked up the plot, convinced some dopes to go along, and then had them arrested...
By: liberalveteran on May 08, 2007 at 10:21am

Seems fishy. Can't imagine that they were not able to buy their weapons without being "set up" by law enforcement. Haven't they heard of e-bay?THis story sounds manufactured to push all the jingoist buttons:"Islamic terrorists planning to attack the troops that defend our freedom"....oh brother. By: brooklyncitizen on May 08, 2007 at 10:38am

The bad guys are the people that attack a country that never was a threat and kill, abuse and maim their population. The bad guys are Nazi trash who think they have some fucking divine mandate to rule the world and then wail like babies when they are attacked and a lousy 3000 people are killed. The bad guys are so STUPID that they don't realize the whole world is fast becoming fed up with their FAT ass dipshit mentality.
By: RepublicuntAsswipeCoward on May 08, 2007 at 10:54am

The official said that the men had lived in the United States for some time and were arrested as part of a joint federal and local investigation. Yeah , these guys certainly sound like the equivalent to our Navy SEALS/Green Berets , don't they ?
By: MCMetalLivesYetAgain on May 08, 2007 at 10:55am

I KNOW it was a deep disappointment to a portion of the trolls when they read the first line of the article;"Six nationals of the former Yugoslavia...".How big a letdown it must have been to find out that they couldn't use this incident to further justify their racism towards Muslims and people of Arab descent.False alarm. Back to the Mexicans you guys.
By: ChiGuy on May 08, 2007 at 11:00am

Too bad we have to be a bit discerning about this news coming just as the Bushies are losing ground. What better than catching a few islamic terrorists lodged in theis country to give our corrupt administration a boast...
By: mmeflutterbye on May 08, 2007 at 11:02am

At least they were going after military targets, which was smart of them, and yes, courageous of them. It would have been too easy for them to shoot up a high school or a tech school; they were smart enough to leave it to drugged-up middle class American kids.I'm sorry, but when you use your military against others don't expect me to shed any tears for you.
By: PatrickWalker on May 08, 2007 at 11:22am

So Pres. Bush's approval rating drops to an all time low of 28% and within a few days some alleged terroists are arrested for plotting to attack Fort Dix...just a coincidence of course

And that's only analyzing pages 1-6 of a 16 page thread. (Oops, I forgot --- according to Arianna Huffington, I must be just "cherry picking" a "miniscule minority" of the comments by "clearly unhinged, fringe" posters).

No wonder HuffPost removed the thread.

Because if casual observers (let alone the advertisers who support HuffPost) could see this kind of insane, hate-laden, America-bashing loonbattery --- and reflect upon the fact that these people have the right to vote --- it would be a sober awakening as to the true nature of the rabid American left, which now claims it has "bought, paid for and now owns" the Democratic Party.

Whoops. The documentation is right here. Let's just hope this thread goes far and wide through the blogosphere, so that maybe ordinary Americans will wake up. Finally.

Have a nice day.
